Horrible property managment
The property was beautiful. Everything about the paradise palms was fantastic. The only downfall was the property manager. Sunrise property management is not a professional company and they do not do the work that they are supposed to do. And apparantley the pool heater for this unit has been broke for 18 months but u dont know that the worst company. And nobody had Gemma numbrr
Spacious, but in desperate need of carpet and furniture cleaning
Plenty of room for a group of 12 or less. Good value for the price. Property manager needs to invest about $500 to clean the carpets and furniture. Also the blinds in one of the master bedrooms needs to be repaired.
Great if you just need a place to sleep, but crap if it’s a place to eat and hang out.
It’s a spacious home, but lousy internet and cable service. Well when it was working. I was told it had a pool, but was like a chill pool and there was an extra charge to warm the water. Not what I expected disappointed in the amenities that came with the house. I rather would have paid a little more for a Hotel and gotten more out of it.
Good Value, Good Communication, Excellent Resort
The previous property reviews give a pretty good summary of the positives and negatives of this property so I'll try not to repeat too much. This was 1 of the most challenging reviews I've ever had--because the "positives" are great and the "negatives" are small but significant. I consider "price paid for value received" as most significant issue in Star Rating--so this is a 4. If the price was double-- the star rating would be half this. And I'd be upset.
Overall, a nice, HUGE home that was totally comfortable for our 3 week stay. TWO huge master bedrooms, nice open living room, and an amazing screened in area including a personal small pool. And the privacy of an end unit that ALSO has much more light due to additonal windows which you get exclusively on end units. Those of you who've rented in FLA know these places can get pretty dark--NOT this unit.
The resort is excellent: nice big pool & clubhouse, enjoyed the basketball court, nice tennis court, kids play area, & sauna. Gemma was kind & prompt in our communications-thanks Gemma! And IPG made check in & return of keys very easy & pleasant. The codes worked fine--gate code and lock box. Seamless.
My major negative is--many of the small issues raised repeatedly over months here --have still not been addressed by the property manager, IPG. Whether its the shades that don't open and close in several rooms, or the light switches--these are low cost issues that are still ignored.
And the reviewers' calls for a deep clean--which is URGENTLY needed. Carpet stains are numerous. Dirt and dust shows up in several places. And there are an absurdly small number of utensils. I feel like Gemma is being let down by her property manager.
OTOH, an issue people have complained about here is NOT the fault of Paradise Palms or the unit's owners: those of you who complain trash is piling up & not picked up did not read either the very specific information given you at sign-in at Paradise Palms OR the note sent to you by Gemma: Trash is picked up ONLY when put in the bench box in front of home. It specifically says they won't pick up trash piled up outside the box--which TONS of renters still do! They pick up 5 days a week so this is not a problem. And oh yeah, the dumpster is nearby next to the clubhouse. If you let trash pile up you didn't read the rules, you're lazy, or both.
Overall, a really good value for the money. The negatives should be addressed, though.
Great place - lots of room
Perfect for our entire group. Very nicely decorated and very clean. Will definitely stay here again next time.
I really loved the property so homely
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The townhouse was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location, close to the clubhouse and resort facilities as well as being only a short drive from Disney.
Every amenity you need is close by on 192 from restaurants to sports bars, from gift shops to supermarkets. I found myself converted from International Drive to 192.
Communication with the owner and the management company was impeccable, from first enquiry to check-out. Management company is less than a 5 minute drive away for key collection, the whole set up felt very secure. There was an alarm system on the townhouse itself and the whole resort is gated and is manned 24/7. I would definitely re-book for future stays in Orlando, especially at such a reasonable price. Only downside was, I wasn’t there long enough.
Other Activities: botchy ball

IPG (my management company) requires all guests to take out the non-refundable $69 Accidental Damage Waiver, this covers the guest up to the value of $15000 should accidental damage occur.
