The living room has luxury seating and 55' LED TV, with views of dining room, plus full professional kitchen with eating counter, and dining area for 5 (xtra chair available)all open concept. Wide open to ocean views and French doors to decks.
Your patio deck by your master bedroom includes a private entry, beautiful gardens, loungers, umbrellas, deck heater, firepit, private hot tub overlooking the sunset over the ocean, a waterfall and much more! The guests in the 2nd bedroom also enjoys a private entry and deck with loungers tucked in the shade of the oaks overlooking the ocean. Its American Leather Perfect Sleeper was selected for ultimate sleeping comfort - convertible to queen bed. Note: There is a queen double deck airbed if someone needs a separate bed, but there is no designated location for it (has been used in office and L.R. for our grandchildren on ocassion).
The peaceful setting also includes multiple decks overlooking the ocean, islands, coastline, canyon, mountains, gardens.
The gated estate has two buildings, the Detached Guest Cottage vrbo.com/428679 that is normally rented for visitors, available 31 or more nights. And also the Detached Main House described here (vrbo.com/430881) where the very experienced hospitality owners live except while traveling. Both buildings can be rented together, or separately if available.
If only one listing (cottage or home) is rented, then semi-private access to certain amenities such as gas BBQ and free laundry facilities are scheduled with mutual respect for privacy. Fee based massage on-site may also be available. The main house occupants enjoy privacy of the large sunset view master bedroom deck with waterfall gardens and private hot tub. Cottage guests enjoy a petite deck adjacent to their entry with private hot tub.
All this is just minutes from parks, biking and hiking trails and local Montecito and Santa Barbara villages, plus nearby wine country. The contemporary indoor space and outdoor living effortlessly merge into an idyllic backdrop and oasis for the ultimate Santa Barbara getaway. You will need a car for convenience (free private off-street parking provided at your rental).
Experienced luxury property hosts help you get the best from your stay. They typically live in this main house, though when rented, may travel afar or live in adjacent guest cottage (VRBO Listing #428679) which is detached and also within the gated estate, and typically rented to other guests.
Important: Beginning January 1, 2017 the government requires a 31 night minimum rental stay. City of Santa Barbara 2016 rental license is 71312 with transient occupancy taxes collected and remitted monthly to the city.

The peaceful sounds of the ponds, fountains and waterfalls compliment the garden wildlife and the deep blue ocean views. Every time we travel, we realize why we chose this location and are ever so grateful that, as usual, things work out exactly like they are supposed to in life, even when we didn't plan to live here. Love, love, love this wonderful spot in Santa Barbara! The cottage is beautifully decorated and inviting from the minute you walk through the door. Every detail is covered and your comfort is anticipated from the goodies in the kitchen to the towels and linens. The grounds are gorgeous and kept meticulously. The panoramic view from the patio captures the Santa Barbara coastal horizon and the surrounding hills and valleys. Highly recommend!
