Best place to stay!
What a great find. This place lives up to its description: "Charming studio in the heart of Carmel." We really loved staying here. You can't go wrong.
We loved staying at the Galante apartment.
My husband and I loved the studio. The bed was really comfortable. It was great to have the kitchenette available. The location could not have been better!
Great stay, great location
My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway to celebrate my birthday. We chose Carmel not knowing too much about it. We were happy to discover our little studio was centrally located downtown-- walking distance to all the shops and restaurants! We also stopped in the Galante Wine Tasting room and had a wonderful experience. We loved it here. Our only issues were that the TV didn't work & that each night there was groups of people being loud until about 1/2AM. We were across the street from a bar & maybe another one behind us because that's where the noise was coming from. But other than that, our stay was great!! I hope to stay here again!
Location, location, location and ease
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect - right in the middle of Carmel but with a feeling of seclusion. Check in and out were simple. Communication was speedy and smooth. In the morning we awoke to smells from the bakery around the corner. Yum! Besides the bakery, we visited three other dining establishments on the same block as the studio. It's right above the tasting room, which was a nice treat. In other reviews, visitors reported hearing noise from the tasting room. We did not. It probably depends on the time of day. But if you are looking for complete silence, this might not be the spot for you. It is in the middle of restaurants, tasting rooms, shops, galleries, hotels, and a bar. The bed was comfy. And while the space is small, it does not feel cramped. The space is used well. One thing - if you're tall you might need to duck in two corners of the room!
