Hernando Beach House Rental Photos and Description

We just purchased a home in Timber Pines, Spring Hill, FL age 55 and over Golf/tennis community. Rented until July 10th, 2016. Available July - Sept. Come check out the community - 2 wk minimum stay Email us for more info. Rated in the top ten in US over 55 communities.

This property Hernando Beach - Bring your Boat & Jet ski or fishing poles!! Dock is right out the back door. TANDEM KAYAK PROVIDED.

This home is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with very open and comfortable floor plan{2130 sq. ft.} It is located on Minnow Creek with great ocean access, 5 minute idle boat ride to open ocean. Views to die for on all 3 levels. One of the few homes that borders Minnow Creek which empties in the Gulf. Very large schools of mullet and redfish, dolphin and manatee right off our dock.

Come see Florida's nature coast. Hernando Beach is a quiet, rural, residential community filled with wildlife. A perfect getaway for relaxing, fishing or family adventure. Watch the dolphins and manatees play outside from the deck. This area is also famous for its Tarpon fishing - with grouper, snapper, snook, flounder and many other species. Watch the dolphin at sunset at Pine Island, a 10 minute drive away, it has white sandy beaches, playground, restroom facilities, grills, picnic shelters and snack bar available.(great for the little ones) Rent a pontoon boat, kayak or canoe and travel the Weeki Wachee River, swim with the manatee in the crystal clear water. See the mermaids at Weeki Watchee Park. There is also a very nice water park there for the kids, Plenty to do locally, why get into the hustle and bustle at Disney World, plus save a lot of money!

About Sharon and Bill Evans

We purchased this property in 2010 as a second home and a vacation rental

Sharon and Bill Evans purchased this house in 2010

Why Sharon and Bill Evans chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

We fell in love with this area after looking at many properties in Hudson, Port Richey and New Port Richey. We decided on Hernando Beach because of its beauty and it out of the hussle and bustle of Hwy 19.

What makes this house unique

Our property is one of the few that has a unique view of the Gulf of Mexico right out the back of the house.

Home away from home

This home is just fabulous, you couldn't ask for anything more.

Great amenities, very clean and well kept.

I have rented this wonderful home for the past 2 years and I will do so again next year.

As I said, "home away from home".

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

If you love nature (especially birds), this is the place for you. The owners are very nice and responsive, the house is roomy and well-equipped, and when the weather permits, it's wonderful to sit out on the decks. We had a wonderful month there and will be returning.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

I had rented Eagle's Nest for a week for my family to spend during Christmas! My mom loved the place. Pictures as listed. There's also a pool table in the 1st floor that my brother liked. (Recommend that you pack along soap and paper towels for extended stay as the house has limited supplies.) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

in Memory of Kathy down.

  • 4 of 5

Kathy, died Oct.1, in Wisconsin. At age 38. She was my granddaughter, a daughter , cousin, niece, and aunt. Our family came together to have a Memorial to her. Since their were 20, most stayed in our area family homes. 6 stayed at Eagles Nest. We ate together and sang songs in the evening, fished and caught great fish to eat, kayaked and enjoyed the beautiful views. It was November so the sun was setting more to the south but we did have beautiful colorful skies each evening

The house has everything you need and very clean and comfortable. Bill and Sharon are the owners and very nice people. We liked the fact that all lights and drawers were labeled so we could find things easily .

There are many good area restaurants. We picked up meals and all ate at the house.

There are lots of steps since it has 3 stories. If you have bad knees, like I do, you will still love this house. Plan when you need to go up or down.

Checkout time is 10 a.m. We thought it was noon.

First time and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time staying at the beautiful home. Our son and wife came for a few days and they too thought it was great. We had everything we needed and when something went wrong Sharon would respond right back. My husband fished everyday he could off the dock and did catch some small snapper. Also a big catfish which he threw back in. We saw dophins and manatee almost everyday. We enjoyed the kayaks but weather was not good on some days so we weren't able to use everyday. We ate at the Cove one night and it was very good. We went to Tarpon Springs one day and recommend doing that also. The home was clean when we arrived and we left it in the same condition. Enough room for all. We hope to return one day. Very nice area.

We love this place!!

  • 5 of 5

Our second stay at this property and our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer - we ran out of time for all of the things we wanted to do. This time we had a really close encounter with a curious manatee just off of the dock. Even more exciting for the kids was a mother and baby dolphin who went fishing right under the neighbours dock on two nights.

More dolphin encounters when we rented a pontoon from the marina and went out into the gulf.

Can't wait for next year!!
