Our English speaking Property Manager lives on La Torre, she will be available during your stay to ensure your holiday is as stress free as possible. Free phone calls may be be made to anywhere on the resort, (e.g. to book game of golf). Both properties have full central heating and blankets/throws supplied for colder months. Townhouse has air conditioning throughout including both bedrooms, also large 3- speed remote control ceiling fans. Penthouse has air conditioning in lounge, 3-speed remote control ceiling fans throughout. We find this is adequate for penthouse a welcoming breeze is often present.
Beach towels also provided.
Both properties are unsuitable for children under 5 years. Non-smoking. No pets

Coast/Beach: Los Alcazares has some of the finest beaches along the Costa Calida of Spain. The beaches at Playa de los Narejos and Playa del Espejo have won the famous Q Awards for their high standards. The beaches run along the Mar Menor and offers warm shallow waters and fine sand. The Mar Menor Sea is a small salt lake it is linked to the Mediterranean Sea at three points called 'golas'. These have a depth. of 7m.The long tranquil beaches can be enjoyed by all the family, especially children.
San Pedro del Pinatar beaches are on the Mar Menor. By the windmill you can try the famous therapeutic mud's, known to prevent rheumatism and arthritis. Walking along from there is the wide promenade, lined with benches, play areas for children and lots of restaurants and cafes. All the beaches on the Mar Menor offer warm shallow waters and fine sand.
To book the penthouse a £50 non-refundable deposit is required, £150 bond wil be required with final balance to act as a guarantee that the property is left in the same condition that you find it. The bond will then be refunded within 10 days following your holiday. Balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday.

We stayed here 15th August 2016 for 10days. A beautiful Penthouse with all the facilities you could want. When we booked, we were always in contact with Jane (the owner), and she answered any questions we had.
It took us about 1hr to reach Torre Golf resort from Alicante airport. A huge gated complex with lovely outdoor communal pools (wristbands provided by owner in penthouse) this is to stop locals or non residents using them. We felt safe on this complex as security ride around in cars 24/7. It had an underground car park, and our parking space was right next to the lift which took you straight up to the front door.
It had washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, english channel TV, lovely appointed bedrooms. Sunloungers with wheels, ideal to take to beach, plenty of beach towels also provided. We had complimentary Milk & Tea bags, Juice & bottled water. Also, the kitchen cupboards were full of everyday essentials ie; salt,pepper,oil,sauces.
If we needed anything whilst there ,we had a local contact called Julie whom lived onsite. A lovely lady & very friendly.
Surrounded by farmland but NOT in the middle of nowhere. You definately need a car to get around unless you intend to stay onsite for your entire holiday. The nearest beach was a good 20 min drive away, spar supermarket onsite with bars & restaurants. Nearby towns of balsicas,Roldan,sucina within easy reach.
Overall we loved this penthouse & I must thank Jane for a excellent stay.
This was our second visit to La Torre and we specifically wanted to stay near the 2nd fairway as we knew it was quite.
We picked this apartment as it was on the top floor so not overlooked, it was in the right area, had a good view of the pool and also looked very nice in the advert
In reality, it was much better than the advert! The apartment is much larger than the other apartments I have been into, not only does it have a lounge, it also has a dining area and large kitchen with plenty of space, the bathroom was big too. The added bonus with this apartment is that it has balconies off the bedrooms so the breeze blowing through the apartment was lovely, initially I was concerned about there being no aircon in the bedrooms, but the large ceiling fans were much nicer and having the doors open all day was so much nicer than having cold noisy aircon on, in fact, we only used the aircon in the living room once and that was when it was a very hot day, it didn't stay on for long as the fans and breeze was plenty enough to cool you down.
The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything and more for a family, the bathroom was large so plenty of space for everyone, the bedrooms again were big enough for everyone with nice quality bedding and plenty of storage space and decor.
The living room has a big corner sofa so again, plenty of space for everyone to sit down, the furniture in the apartment is all solid oak and of a very good standard, the whole apartment is decorated well and it very, very comfortable. There is also a dining area just in case you don't want to eat outside
The patio is large with sunbeds and a dining suite with parasol and lots of lovely plants, its also very private - the front balconies had a great view over the mountain and it was a great place to hang out the washing and for a morning cuppa.
The apartment was average price but I think for what you got, it was excellent value, it was also very clean. There were also lots of added things such as docking stations, wifi, cava in the fridge etc
Jane the owner and the ladies on site who met us were lovely, helpful and trustworthy.
I highly recommend this apartment to everyone, the only one word of warning I would say, is that there were a few bees hanging around the flowers on the patio, they kept themselves to themselves and were not a bother, but if you are allergic to bees then this may be the only concern you may have in renting this wonderful apartment.
The stay at the penthouse was my second rental from this owner. Last time I stayed at the townhouse. Once again, everything was first class and did what it said on the tin. The penthouse has stunning views over the golf course on one side and open country on the other. The sun goes east to west so breakfast and sundowners can be enjoyed in the sun on alternate balconies! There is a lift directly from the basement to the apartment door, which has it's own landing, so no issues with stairs. Going up and down to the lovely pool is really convenient although lazing on the private terrace is ace. As with the townhouse, all amenities are but a short walk away.
La Torre is a golf resort so fairly quiet in the evenings but that suits us just fine. I was heartened that the resort has been well maintained since we were last there and that the penthouse is still modestly priced. We will be back!
I travelled in April 2011 with my wife and daughter, and was thoroughly delighted withthe quality of the apartment and the service we received. We were met at the gates by Jane and Mark, the owners who quickly showed us to the apartment. They were friendly and welcoming and assured us that either they, or the keyholders, Bernie and Carol would be available if we needed any help. The apartment itself is stunning, with comfortable and luxurious fittings and a great view of the surrounding area from the front, and the second hole from the back. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The kitchen has everything you need for a self catering holiday and more, including a slow cooker, toastie maker, microwave, washing machine, toaster and plenty of pans. The supermarket on site is well stocked and reasonable. Whilst on holiday I needed to print out additional boarding passes, and Carol was more than willing to do this, and assured me that I could contact her for anything else we needed on the holiday. We had glorious weather all the time we were away, which gave us the opportunity to take advantage of the large sun terrace and the pool which is conveniently located just behind the apartment and can be seen from the sun terrace. Our nine year old enjoyed playing in the pool and also playing on the play areas which are located around the site. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and I have no doubt that we will return to this fantastic resort which has something for everybody.
The spacious, well-planned apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated and is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Having toured the rest of the resort, we feel this penthouse is in the best possible location, being handy for resort facilities, but in a quiet location on the edge of the resort.
The view from the balcony is stunning, and there is a fantastic choice of large swimming pools ideal for adults and children. During the day one of the two balconies is always in shade or part shade which is really useful in the hot summer. We could have afternoon tea facing across the fields from the bedroom balcony, and our evening meal on the main balcony overlooking the pool and golf course.
The owner is really helpful and answered all our queries, and the home-made meals delivered to our door were delicious and really practical for busy families.
Having a well-stocked supermarket and restaurants on site was really handy and makes this a perfect location for a relaxing, stress-free holiday.
We spent a fantastic long weekend in this stunning & well equiped penthouse appartment, situated in a lovely quiet location but only a 10min stroll to the clubhouse & bars in the centre of the resort.
Upon arrival we found the appartment to be immaculate & decorated to a very high standard....Very Impressed...!!!

The Mar Menor sea inlet, Europe's biggest salt-water lagoon created by the spit of land known as La Manga del Mar Menor, is believed to have great curative properties for ailments such as rheumatism and arthritis.
Golf: La Torre course in excellent condition, being new the practice facilities are some of the best in the Murcian region. A quick review of the scorecard would lead you to believe that you are in for an easy ride with a par of 68 and only 4981 metres from the yellow tees and 3884 metres from the ladies tees. You could not be more wrong. This is a typical Jack Nicklaus designed course and the danger is in the detail with water being strategically positioned, large areas of bunkers and waste land and small, fast and undulating greens with many dangerous pin positions making two putting a difficult task at times. The two par five’s on the course are reachable in two shots by the longer hitters but the six par threes have to be handed with care because although relatively short by today’s standards they are well protected right up to the apron of the greens.The golf course is relatively flat so is ideal for those amongst us who prefer to walk.
Sierra Nevada is approx. 2-3 hrs drive away.
