Brie’s Tahoe Retreat is a classic Tahoe cabin which offers modern luxuries in a prime North Shore location. The charming 5 bedroom 3 bath home is within minutes of Northstar Ski resort, blocks from the beach and recently remodeled, complete with a steam shower, hot tub and game room. This is the ideal vacation getaway for your large family or group.

As you enter through our upstairs mud room you will be greeted by a warm living room, complete with a stone fireplace and log beams. The couch and fireplace are inviting to people and animals alike. Brie will sleep for hours in front of the fireplace.

Even on vacation, you may want to cook up a feast for the family (or just warm up the leftovers from one of the awesome Kings Beach restaurants). Our modern kitchen with granite countertops is off the living room and is outfitting with all of the essentials you’ll need. There is a separate laundry room and pantry off the kitchen.

Down the hall is the guest bathroom which has heated floors and a spacious steam shower. You have no idea what you’re missing until you try a steam shower. There are two guest rooms off of the hall, one with a King sized log bed and one with a queen sized log bed. The master suit has a great bay window looking into the back yard, a California King sized canopy log bed, walk through closet and en-suite bathroom.

Downstairs is a recently remodeled bathroom and two bedrooms, one with two bunk beds and the other with a twin over full log bunk bed. The game room has a flat screen TV, a Wii, Netflix and lots of DVDs. There is also a foosball table, card table (texas hold'em or blackjack) and an assortment of games and puzzles to enjoy. For additional sleeping there is a “Cowboy” daybed made out of pine logs.

Out back is a spacious yard with a hot tub, patio, barbecue, picnic table, lawn and fire pit. When the weather is nice (or even when it's not) this is the place to be!

Our dog Brie loves nothing more than getting away to Tahoe. She welcomes your well behaved pooch to enjoy our home as well. We charge only a small nightly pet fee to cover the additional cleaning costs.

Your family and friends (two legged and four) can’t help but feel relaxed in our classic yet luxurious home. With all there is to do in the area, in all seasons, our well appointed cabin is the ideal place for you to unwind, reflect on all of the fun you had during the day and enjoy the company of your loved ones. We can’t get enough of it and are sure that you will feel the same after your stay

About Chandler and Gia Grenier

Our Family has been vacationing in Kings Beach for 20+ years and can't get enough. We love the year round activities as well as the opportunity to do nothing but relax on the beach or by the fire. When we recently returned from living overseas we decided to buy a home in Kings Beach to use as our own retreat and share with other like minded families.

Chandler and Gia Grenier purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Chandler and Gia Grenier chose Lake Tahoe North Shore

We love the neighborhood feel of Kings beach, the pet friendly attitude of the area, its proximity to skiing, the lake and the bay area. We wanted a traditional Tahoe cabin but didn't want to sacrifice modern conveniences. We are so happy with our second home and hope you are as well.

What makes this cabin unique

You will love the feel of the traditional cabin and the modern luxuries. Nothing feels better than a steam shower / wet sauna after a long day of skiing, sledding, boating or just playing on the beach. The inviting stone fireplace will invite you and your family to gather around and enjoy each other's company!

Great family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great family vacation at this house. There was plenty of room for 8 adults, 2 children, and 1 dog. The location was awesome, close to Safeway, gas station, snow board rental shop, Rite Aid, restaurants, and of course the lake. The house had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to Chandler and Gia for providing a lovely home for our family to enjoy. Cheers!

Great family vacation home

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at the cabin. We had 12 people and the house was a perfect size for a large group. The foosball was also well used. The location is great, close to shopping, casinos and skiing.

Great Cabin and Location!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of four small families who rented Brie's Tahoe retreat to spend a weekend in Tahoe together. The cabin was comfortable and clean with enough space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk bed room and the game room. The steam shower was awesome! We lucked out and came during a sunny weekend. Chandler recommended sledding off of Mt. Rose highway, which was a great suggestion - the view was like a postcard! We made all of our meals at the cabin and everything we needed to do so was in the well appointed kitchen. We'd highly recommend this cabin!

Owner's Response: Hi Suzana, Thanks for the review and for staying with us. Indeed sunny weekends have been a rarity this year, though we are certainly not complaining about all of the awesome snow! With our kids a little older it seems that sledding isn't as high on their to-do list as it once was and I miss it. It is truly a wonderful spot and I remember going there when I was a kid as well. We're delighted that you guys loved the cabin as much as we do and that you had a safe trip home. We hope to hear from you again soon. Thanks again, Chandler and Gia

Perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely home was perfect! The location allowed us to walk up to a trail head for a hike that was well suited for children and adults alike. The lake is close enough to walk to, but we decided to drive since we would have to carry babies as well as beach toys. We were able to enjoy all meals at the house since it's fully equipped for cooking, baking and BBQ! The patio was the place to be since the kids were able to play in the adjacent room or run in the yard while we took in the fresh air. Over all, our trip was awesome thanks in large part to this house.

Terrific stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house was great! We had four families sharing house and there was plenty of space. Very clean and in order upon arrival. Beautiful house and very comfortable. The backyard is like a little oasis. Close to Kings Beach. The teenagers were able to walk on their own to beach. Owners were very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Our vacation home is on a quiet street in Kings Beach, conveniently located within walking distance to the lake. There you will find the Kings Beach State Recreation Area which includes a beautiful white sand beach, playground and picnic area. Check out the charming shops and restaurants that make up the Kings Beach lakefront. There is great nightlife just five minutes out of town where you can gamble take in a show or check out Tahoe Frank Sinatra style at the CalNeva resort. There is a great golf course walking distance from the cabin and many more courses within a short drive. While you can certainly fish in Lake Tahoe there is also great fishing on the Truckee River, Donner Lake, Prosser Creek Reservoir and Boca Reservoir, all short drives from the house. When it’s time to ski a short 5 minute drive gets you to Northstar, 15 minutes to Diamond Peak and 30 minutes to Mt. Rose, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and Homewood ski resorts. There are also great hiking and biking trails at the end of the street!
