This lovely one bedroom (with additional sofa bed) condo is on the top floor of one of the tallest buildings in Mission Beach with GREAT VIEWS. From the wall of windows you can see all the way south to downtown, north to La Jolla, west to the Pacific and east to Mission Bay.

The moment that you step in the door, you are surrounded by a feeling of relaxation and calm. The bright new furnishings and happy decor make it easy to jump right in to a 'leave your troubles behind' mood, and the fact that you are only steps from the Mission Beach Boardwalk with miles of sand and sea bring that feeling into reality!

MISSION BEACH, the BEACHWALK, MISSION BAY, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING, BELMONT PARK (with it's roller coaster and wave machine) are just a short walk away. SEA WORLD is a five minute drive while SAN DIEGO ZOO, BALBOA PARK, DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO with it's GAS LAMP DISTRICT and OLD TOWN are within a 15-20 minute drive!

The wall of windows and terrace off of the sunny living room look out to the Pacific Ocean on the right and Mission Bay on the left. With views of the Downtown San Diego skyline and Sea World fireworks (nightly in the summer...weekends year round!). You can see for miles while you sit on the terrace with your morning coffee.

If you insist on working or just keeping up with the internet, we provide super fast WiFi service. And also have additional sports channels for your enjoyment...when you're not outside at the beach!

The kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor. Just bring food because everything else is provided! All this is surrounded by beautiful marble counters and floors.

Extra care has been taken to provide the most comfortable bed (the mattress was recently replaced with a $4000. luxury mattress that sleeps like heaven!) with down pillows and comforters. We've also recently installed an aircondtioner in the bedroom which enables you to choose the most comfortable temperature for your sleep preferences. And if you're too chilly, there's a fireplace on the wall that not only provides heat but delicious romantic atmosphere!

The bath, with tub and drenching rain shower head, has been completely remodeled and surrounded with travertine marble tile on the floors, shower and vanity top.

Every care has been taken in the hope that you feel like the special and valued guest that you are!

Sandi and Rick Ellis have lived in Grants Pass Oregon for the past 5 years since moving from Carmel Valley California. We are semi retired and share our lives with our four dogs and one horse. Why Sandi Ellis chose Bay View Villas

We purchased this condo when our daughter was earning her pHd and needed a bright place to live for five years that was close to shopping and recreation. Since then our family and friends have enjoyed using the condo to vacation at the beach. Because our family and friends use this home, we have decorated and maintained it not so much for rental but for our enjoyment, so it's nicer than you might expect from a beach rental.

What makes this condo unique

We are located on what locals call "The Strand" which is a spit of land only a few hundred feet wide. Mission Blvd. runs down the middle of it and the Pacific is just steps away as well as Mission Bay on the other side.

It's a truly unique location. The bright atmosphere first attracted us to this condo but the additional advantages that we appreciate now are the proximity to restaurants, shops and rental businesses. Not to mention the beach and bay on either side of the building. We can pull in to the gated and secure garage and never use our car again until we're ready to return on our journey.

Notes:
Parking at the beach is very difficult. Having a gated garage with your own reserved space is a huge benefit! The elevator and washer and dryer on site are very convenient!

The condo was a perfect couple getaway

We loved the convenience to both Bay and beach, and we were moments away from excellent coffee and restaurants. Quieter than boardwalk properties with a great sunset view from the balcony. The unit is light and bright and comes comfortably furnished with many amenities for the beach. The secure parking is a great benefit as is the elevator.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. Conveniently located.

We loved the location because it was steps from the beach and beach front walking/biking sidewalk. We could drive almost everywhere we wanted to go in 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment was cozy and comfortable including the bed! Nicely decorated too. The parking was great in the private gated garage. Highly recommend.

Great spot by the beach!

The place was “as advertised.” One building away from the beach and had everything my family of 4 needed. The contact person, Katharine, was warm, friendly and welcoming. The owner, Sandi, was also very nice and answered all of our questions promptly. We had a great week.

This lovely condo is in the perfect location. You can park your car in the GATED GARAGE with your own RESERVED SPACE while you walk south to BELMONT PARK with it's historic wooden roller coaster (one of only a few running today), wave machine and carnival atmosphere. The BEACH WALK runs for miles along the BEACH (50 steps from the condo) and is perfect for anything from a leisurely stroll to running or anything in between...(the best thing is people watching here). It's an easy stroll to DINING, GROCERY STORES and there's a convenience market right next door. MISSION BAY is just across the street and half block away, ideal for enjoying the quieter side with sailing, and loads of water activities.

Of course a visit to San Diego wouldn't be complete without seeing SEA WORLD, (a ten minute drive) and BALBOA PARK and the SAN DIEGO ZOO, (both about a 20 minute drive).

This area boasts a wide variety of RESTAURANTS and COCKTAIL LOUNGES, BIKE AND SURFBOARD RENTALS, and more to occupy your time than you can imagine.... OR choose to sit on the beach and RELAX!
