About Irine Tabach
My husband and I are retired Military, Navy, 26 years of service. We traveled the world, moved back to Philadelphia a few years ago, and bought this house as we want to move to down town Phila. Can't yet, so for now enjoy the house and the location.
Irine Tabach purchased this Apartment in 2016
Why Irine Tabach chose Washington Square West
This house is very charming, its a corner property, you have a park on the side of the house, so it just a great area, and on the other side of the house is south street, restauants, walking, people, stores, fun. Its a great locatioin and a very nice house for small groups and large.

Close to all the Tourist Attractions
We enjoyed the proximity to Old town Philadelphia. We used mass transit mainly for the airport and walked nearly everywhere else. The apt was cute, had everything we needed to create simple meals and close to restaurants and grocery shopping.
Very very nice apartment I really really enjoyed it
And if anybody comes in Philadelphia it's just a year it's very convenient nice good restaurants in the neighborhoods and close by everything
The apartment was cute and a perfect size for a couple like us (albeit a little dusty). Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. Finding the parking garage was a little stressful but it ended up being reasonably priced. Not the landlord's fault, but the walls were very thin and if you're a light sleeper, the neighbors' running and screaming kids will likely wake you up early.
The biggest drawback was the temperature inside the apartment; the air conditioning was on so high that we were freezing anytime we were inside and there was no way for us to adjust it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again!
Great location, great stay
Stayed with my siblings for a family trip and loved the house. Easily fit all 7 of us. Easy walk to everything and nearby bus stop. Many shops and restaurants as well as 2 grocery stores within a few blocks. South street is good for a Saturday night out but the house is just down the road and is quiet with a park on one side. Enjoyed going in to the historical area (liberty bell, Independence Hall, etc), as well as just walking the nearby streets and looking at the historical homes. Bed were very comfortable, nice after a long day of walking.
Gail, Thank you very much for your review and the details. We really enjoyed hosting you and your group. Hope we can do it again
nice space, but...
The space itself was fine. It just felt like no one had been there in a long time, it was dusty, but in particular, the towels were MUSTY, and there was no top sheet on the bed. Owner's description of "hotel grade" towels and linens was really not accurate. The fold out couch was supposed to have linens, and there were none. But overall, not a bad place, just not so great.
Thank you so much for your comments. We will definitely take them under advisement and address these issues for future guests. We always appreciate feedback. We wish you would have advised us of the issues during your stay so we could have addressed and made your stay much more enjoyable. Either I or a member of my crew are always available and had we known we would most definitely come over to re-dust and bring in new towels. We will inspect the properties much more thoroly in the future to insure that this does not happen again. Thank you again for your comments.
