This property exceeded our expectations! Very clean and spacious. The location was perfect! We highly recommend it!
We visit San Francisco often, and always try to stay in the Mission area. We always have trouble finding nice places. This place was great. Clean, nice furniture, excellent appliances, good beds, and large bedrooms. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and had been remodeled. Street parking was easy to find during our stay. Nice TV and good wireless internet. Good location and easy walk to Park and restaurants. Located in a hilly area with steep steps to the apartment so not good if you are in poor shape. We will be back!
Our stay could not have been better. The place was everything you could ask for.
A full kitchen, 2 beautiful bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. A comfortable sitting room, with TV and Wi-Fi. The location is phenomenal. Great walking area with amazing restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was spotless. They kept the place clean and ready for us. We highly recommend this place.
We had a great time. Large place, very well equipped, clear instructions, great location for us.
My parents, husband and 2 year old daughter stayed in this lovely home for 5 nights during our Spring break. The location was perfect and central to all the touristy things we had planned. My favorite feature was the easy walk to one of the most beautiful parks we have ever visited. My daughter knew it was close and we went everyday.
As far as the home, it was a perfect layout for 5 people to share good quality time yet also allowed for private space. We cooked in a couple of nights and made breakfast almost every morning and it was so convenient to have Whole Foods down the block!
We loved this house, the location and Nicole was so responsive. She even mailed back a pair of pajama pants we left behind.
My wife and I, accompanied by our two young grandsons, stayed in this attractive and well located unit while visiting our daughter, who lives nearby, for a long weekend. It was perfect for us - two large bedrooms, a front living area with views of the nearby hills, a fully equipped modern kitchen, two new or redone bathrooms, and all the supplies and amenities you could want. The location could not be better - on attractive Dolores Street at the top of a hill, two blocks from Dolores Park (with its new world-class children's playground), a short walk to markets and restaurants (try Delfina - one of the city's best) or Tartine (NYT says favorite bakery in the USA). We can't wait to return.
The Liberty-Hill Historic District is one of the earliest residential areas to be developed in San Francisco, with major development starting in the 1860s and continuing until the turn of the century. Because the fire following the 1906 earthquake was stopped at the Twentieth Street boundary of the district, it contains examples of all architectural styles prevalent during the developmental period.
The majority of the buildings in the District are Victorian, including the Italianate, Stick and Queen Anne styles. The houses range in size from small workingman's cottages to grand houses, a number of which were designed by well-known Bay Area architects. The suburban quality of the Liberty-Hill area is retained to this day. It is enhanced by extensive street tree plantings and the very low incidence of commercial establishments in the residential areas.
The great majority of district businesses are on nearby Valencia Street, an historic and unifying commercial corridor, which continues to be one of San Francisco hottest neighborhoods and one of the best urban experiences in the entire United States where you can walk to everything great about the city by the bay.
793 Dolores is perfectly located for easy walks to world-class eateries in the Gourmet Ghetto (Valencia St, 18th and 24th Streets) or to take in the many murals that cover Mission buildings. Or take a short two-block walk to the famous and newly renovated Mission Dolores Park, with the city’s best new playground.
This lovely home is ideally located to get around San Francisco. It's a short one block walk to the MUNI light rail station for a 15 minute public transport ride to Downstown/SoMa/Market Street.
Or a six-block walk to BART rapid transit system serving the entire San Francisco Bay Area. The heavy-rail public transit and subway system connects San Francisco with cities in the East Bay and suburbs in northern San Mateo County. The home is also a five-minute drive to the freeway for a commute down the Peninsula.
