This was the second time we had stayed in Moises's apartments and this year was just as good as the first. The apartments have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday. The gardens are great - very clean and tidy and if there is anything you need you only have to ask Moises. La Palma is a great place to relax with friends and that apartment certainly do the business. There are many trips you can take around the island or on the water dolphin watching or fishing. Thanks again Moises for a lovely holiday! Ann & Tony Jenner
We stayed in January and the weather was lovely. Sometimes cloudy at the house but you never had to drive far to get some sunshine. It was lovely to have the sea view and we spent a good few days just lazing on the sun loungers on the lovely terrace. The house was really well equipped and cozy. We were made to feel really welcome but then left in peace to enjoy our holiday. Moises was a great source of information too. The only slight issue was that at night it was a bit cold but once we had worked out how to use the heater and made use of the extra blankets it was fine. The house is just outside Puntagorda in a really quiet area. There is a local shop nearby and the North West was by far, in our view, the most beautiful part of the island so we were well positioned. Thank you Moises and family for a lovely lovely holiday. It couldn't have been better!
We had a wonderful week at La Cartita last month. It is a modest cottage but clean and had everything we needed, including great wifi. The views are stunning and we enjoyed the afternoon sunshine and the sunsets. Moises is a great host - very helpful and hospitable. I did get some nasty bites (black flies or something like them), so use insect repellant if you're visiting in April. Two supermarkets a short drive down the hill and plenty of restaurants to choose from. If you like peace and quiet, Punta Gorda is a great location close to some of the best natural attractions of La Palma.
Casa La Cartita is a perfect holiday home. It was clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a sea view where you can watch the sun set from an attractive, private garden. The local people are friendly and we were made to feel welcome in the community. Moises, the owner, introduced himself personally at the beginning of our holiday to ensure we were happy. La Palma is an inexpensive, beautiful island with lots of excellent walking. Recommended.
We stayed at Casa Cartita for 6 weeks with our 9 month old daughter. The weather was beautiful, not to hot and only a few rainy days. The climate in Puntagorda, which is about 700 m above sea level is very moderate and within a 35 minutes drive you can reach a nice beach in Tazacorte with a temperature differnce of 10 degrees more.
Our little home for the six weeks, Casa Cartita, was perfect for our requirements. Nice and fully enquiped kitchen, a living room, which we didn't use to much because we spent the most of out time on the beautiful terracce and a spleeping room for us and our little daughter. The extra bed for our baby and a high chair were provided without extra cost by Moises, the owner of this little piece of heaven. Moiese took very much care of us and provided us with a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit from his gardens. We really felt like a part of his familiy and he always had good advice and help when we were unsure about what to do.
One day we asked where we can get a pool for our baby and in the evening he bought a new inflatable one and gave it to us for free.
It was cerainly not the last stay in La Palma and the Finca of Moises.

We enjoyeed our stay in La Cartita. Moises, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The casa was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and was very well located with easy access to the main road. I would certainly recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay in the Puntagorda area. overall, very good value for money.
Puntagorda is a small village on the west side of La Palma, which is know as the beautiful island because is the greenest of the Canary Islands. La Palma is very well connected to England with Thomson flights every Monday from Gatwick and Manchester. And it´s also linked to Holland and Germany with flights Jetair, Condor, etc.
The house is an ideal place for walking, exploring, photography, astronomy, birdwatching or just pure relaxation. The village has shops, bars, restaurants and swimming pool all within walking distance from La Cartita. Some of the marked walking routes of La Palma are also accessible on foot from Casa Cartita. In the area there is lots for the nature lover to see. As well as the many footpaths, there are miradores, windmills and the nature reserve El Fayal. At Puntagorda Puerto you can walk down the many steps to the sea and enjoy the views along the way. In calm weather you can swim in the small pool and the sea.
