Breathtaking views in a warm and peaceful setting.
Beautiful home just feet from the water. Quiet and serene with the sounds of the waves in the background. Owners are very kind and accommodating. Worth a visit and will definitely return!
Peaceful and beautiful
Thoroughly enjoyed out time at the Majestic Cabin! Well equipped and clean and plenty of beds. The location is quiet and tranquil. Beautifully landscaped with a backdrop of forest and lake, which was very calming. Loved the little cabin under the pine trees and the screened summer house. Had our inflatable dinghy and kayak in the water most days. There is a little sand beach with a wonderful "laying in the sun rock". We wore water shoes and had fun wading out through the shallow rocky water. Made a couple of trips: four miles south to the little roadside park with a bigger sand beach and deeper water, and north to Escanaba with a quaint downtown and a new Meijer! Took a day trip up to Lake Superior and ate pasties and climbed Sugarloaf Mountain trail with spectacular views. Returned home to the cabin and watched the Milky Way around the campfire. We will never forget this lovely place!
Had a very lovely stay!
We were two families, 4 kids total, and had a very lovely stay. There was ample area for the kids to play inside and outside, beautiful scenery on Lake Michigan, and nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. Would stay here again!
We had a wonderful time.
The home was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials that we needed. Our children and grandchildren had a great time! We brought our OTV and enjoyed the trails/roads that were close by. We saw a fox, several deer, and a porcupine while using the OTV. We also saw an eagle and heard loons, but didn't see them, at the house. This was a great place for a family vacation.
