Dock at the pier and spend a wonderful afternoon mingling with locals and eating some delicious seafood. And you can get there by simply hopping in your boat from your own private, backyard dock!

Of course, you don’t need a boat to appreciate Halcyon Days. Stick around the property and you’ll discover stunning sunrises on the cove, a sparkling private pool for a languid afternoon in the sun, and a spectacular sunset spot on the beach just a short walk away.

Inside, the décor captures the Caribbean with lots of color and bright artwork. This might be the only place on Grand Cayman with a sunflower yellow bathtub, and we love it! Halcyon Days has the charm and personality to help make your vacation unforgettable.

Halcyon Days also has a den space with a daybed (sleeps one extra guest, for a total of 5 guests) and an armchair with footrest that’s so comfortable, it could almost be a bed itself. You might start calling the den “The Napping Room,” as there’s no better place to retreat into the A/C and read a good book until you drift into an afternoon catnap.

Add to this a fully stocked kitchen that opens to the other living areas, a covered patio with BBQ grill, and, of course, a boat dock and that private pool shaded by palm trees, and you have the Cayman vacation spot you’ve been searching for!

Car: necessary

Cayman Kai is a community of beach front homes with a couple of quiet condo complexes. There are a few restaurants in the area and a water-sports operator located on Rum Point Beach, but it is generally a much quieter experience. This area is about 45 minutes drive from the airport, car hire is recommended if you choose to stay in this area.
