We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming little home. The well stocked kitchen and quaint pellet stove allowed us to hunker down inside during a daylong snowstorm. Philip was welcoming and helpful. We'd gladly stay again.
Wonderful! An oasis away from a hectic world.
This place soothes the soul. Cozy and comfortable with the added bonus of being surrounded by animals. Where else can you get a wake up call from a rooster?!?! We loved the llamas! They are such interesting characters and so curious and unusual. Loved the chickens (including two baby chicks) donkeys and the sweet chocolate labs too. Thank you to Jeffery, Phil’s brother who was watching over the farm while Phil was away, who was super-friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Quiet and calm retreat
Clean, quiet with a helpful host. It was a great place to return to at the end of busy days.
Adorable cabin on a beautiful farm property
I can't wait to book this again! The studio was comfortable, nicely decorated, and our host, Phil, left us a thoughtful welcome note, chocolate and wine! All the directions for getting to the property and about the house were thorough and helpful. The property is gorgeous and as the description says...there are llamas! I expected them to be in a far off barn but no no. The studio was connected to one of the barns housing 5 llamas. Their paddock was right next to the studio. Every time we looked out the window, or were outside in the yard, we were face to face with llamas. They were curious but did their own thing, and Phil described their personality as similar to cats. The studio and the farm property were ideal, but as an animal lover, the llamas were really the cherry on top of a perfect stay! I can't stress enough how hospitable Phil was. I felt like we were staying with friends. I miss the llamas!
