A park like setting awaits you in this 1910 Tudor home. In the Audubon Park neighborhood, this house is very accommodating for larger groups. The owners are on site for your wants and needs (ie. Restaurant suggestions, local tours, concierge services, etc.). Also on site is the photography of local artists whose work is available for purchase.
So, sit back and relax, enjoy your stay, let us be your Louisville ambassador. Your greatest compliment would be to return!
Why stay at a hotel when you can be at home?
Beautiful, historic neighborhood. Safe, secure oasis in the city.
7 of us stayed in Buzzy's house for Ironman Louisville. Pictures do not do this house justice. It was so beautiful inside and out. Extremely clean and up to date with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. Buzzy was so nice and helpful with anything we needed. When trying to prepare for an Ironman athletes are always nervous about how we will get any sleep but this house was perfect. Such a beautiful and quiet neighborhood that we were able to ride our bikes in for a last short training ride before the race. Plenty of space to store our bikes and the rooms are really spacious to spread out all our race gear. For any kind of gathering I would highly recommend staying at this house. If I am ever in Louisville again I would definitely book this way in advance.
In a week that drew more than 80,000 people to Louisville, we were looking for a place where our NRA Convention staff could reside and enjoy some quiet time away from all the people. Buzzy could not have been more welcoming. This home was absolutely perfect for our group! The home was lovely, clean, and warmly furnished making it feel like home, while we were away from our homes. Centrally located to the airport and convention center was very important to us; and, this could not have been more convenient! The kitchens were fully stocked; the beds were comfortable; and, the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We cooked/grilled out every evening, which saved us quite a bit of money. If were lucky enough to return to Louisville, there is no other place we would rather stay! We enjoyed the limited time we were able to spend getting to know Buzzy and sweet Leila. Thank you, Buzzy & Susan!
We stayed at this property for four nights with three other families (11 people in all) to watch our sons play in the National Collegiate Club Volleyball Tournament at the Expo Center. It was all we could have hoped for and more. Buzzy greeted us warmly when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. He and his wife live in a separate area on the second and third floors, and he was nearby if we needed anything (which we didn't). The house is charming and the location is superb. We were five minutes drive away from the Expo Center in a quiet, mature neighborhood with lovely homes and streets great for walking. Since we were away most days, we did not do any cooking at the house, except for one breakfast, but the kitchens were well stocked and the upstairs one is big enough for several cooks in the kitchen. There is a den/living room on each floor with comfy seating and TV's, as well as TV's in all but one bedroom. We enjoyed visiting together in the evenings and planning our days in the morning as we relaxed in these public areas. The group really appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom on the main floor and the two upstairs bedrooms shared a bathroom and the one room had an additional half bath. The whole house was welcoming and clean. It should be noted that the two floors are connected with an outside stairs and there is not a large dining table on either floor. However, there is an eat-at bar in the upstairs kitchen and small tables in each den with chairs for eating, as well as 6-8 ft. tables and folding chairs in the closet if you need a bigger eating area for your group. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Louisville area and would love to come back again. Thanks Buzzy!
Buzzy's property was top notch with plenty of amenities in a nice quiet neighborhood central to everything. My staff came with me to a conference at the Yum Center. We were looking for a place where we could have more community around the conference and process the event together; where we could cook together and spend time together in our leisure. Buzzy's property was perfect for the event. Anyone wanting to rent the house for a larger group might want to know that the first and second floors are completely separate apartments each having their own kitchen and living area. In order to access the second story, you will have to use an outside staircase and entrance. This was not a problem for our group. We spent most of our hangout time together at the outdoor patio where there is a nice grill for cooking out. All in all, this property was fantastic, well kept, and roomy enough for all of us (12) staying there, and Buzzy was a wonderful host. He was very accommodating. We look forward to staying there again next time we visit the area.
My employer rented the home when we came in for the Helicopter convention. The house had plenty of space for all 6 of my colleagues to stay comfortably. It was clean and spacious. We couldn't of asked for a better location. 5 minutes from the convention center and airport. Only 10 minutes from downtown. Susan and Buzzy were more than helpful during all phases of the rental process. A couple of items were left behind and Susan shipped them first thing. We couldn't have had a better experience. I would recommend this rental to anyone.
We anticipated having several families for the Ironman race and this house had everything we needed! We ended up with far fewer people actually able to come in for the race, but had everyone been there there would have been plenty of room. As it turns out, it worked out really well and we all had lots of room to spread out! The house is lovely and well maintained. Comfortable beds! The neighborhood is very nice, was great to be able to run and bike a little bit before the race. Quick access to downtown. Buzzy was a great host. Thanks so much!
