Took the family on a quick 5 day get away to the Blue Ridge Mountains. This property was perfect for my husband and I, our 2 teenage boys and both of our mothers! It was spacious, beautifully decorated, complete with a furnished basement and game room, including a pool and ping pong table that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The view was spectacular, star gazing at night in the hot tub, building an outdoor fire and grilling out on the large wrap around porch were definitely some of the highlights of this cabin. It's conveniently located to nearby attractions, great restaurants and fun things to do. We were able to white water raft, zip line, visit local markets and winery's and still have plenty of time to enjoy the serenity of the cabin...all in less than 5 full days! The owner was extremely kind and helpful and it's obvious that she cares about the experience her guest have while visiting her vacation rental. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful cabin in woods!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chocolate Moose Lodge. The home is beautiful beyond the pictures, very comfortable and spacious and the owner was a class act who was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this home to anyone.
We loved this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the only one small thing I could see that could use improvement is the cook wear, no baking sheet and not much as far as pots and pans go. besides that everything was amazing! we will definitely recommend this place and may also stay there again.
My daughter and I, along with my sister and her two daughters, had a wonderful girl's get-away. The large, spacious cabin was perfect and decorated beautifully. The weather was not too cold that we could use the fireplaces but it was nice having them there available. When you visit Blue Ridge, you must go to the Southern Comfort Restaurant, it was great! We enjoyed strolling the shops along Main Street and a Blue Ridge visit wouldn't be complete without visiting Mercier Orchard. Sitting on the porch each morning with a cup of coffee and a blanket was heaven on earth! Yes, the driveway was challenging but we made it :)
My family and I enjoyed staying here. We booked last minute and the owner was very helpful in answering questions and pointing us in the right direction towards the activities we wanted to do while staying there. The house was more than spacious, clean, comfortable, and we really enjoyed cooking out with the grill and sitting on the deck to look for wildlife that was plentiful. We found the area to be really nice, and the kids enjoyed learning ping pong from the "master".....their DAD.

I recently took a group of teenagers to the Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia and stayed at this home. The home is very lovely and it has a terrific view of the surrounding mountains. The hot tub on the deck was my group's favorite part! However there were things missing that were really needed. The kitchen was not well stocked at all. When you're preparing a meal for a group, you really need serving dishes and things of that nature...there were none. The cabin rents for 10 but only had dish service for eight. There were no pitchers for making tea or lemonade. Also, since we stayed there in the winter, the house is on the cold side. There were no blankets except for what covered the beds.
All in all the house was beautiful and wonderful for my group but these little things add up. I would rent this house again if it were better stocked.
