Sweet little condo with a great North Beach local.

This condo was the perfect size for two couples - 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds and one bathroom. Ideally, it would have been great with 2 bathrooms, but it certainly was not a deal breaker. It was tidy and comfy, and Eleanor was quite accomodating. All in all, it was a great place.

Great unit! Great location!

We had a wonderful stay in San Francisco. The unit was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was well-appointed and very large, and the entire unit was immaculate. Eleanor was terrific and greeted us with a few surprises (including a bag a freshly ground coffee and cream, along with some other goodies). We really appreciated that after our flight.

The location was perfect for us (close to relatives we were visiting, close to Fisherman's Wharf, and close to the restaurants we enjoy in the area). It is also only a short walk to both Safeway and Trader Joe's, so keeping milk and groceries in for a toddler was very convenient. Our grandson was thrilled to find a Curious George book, three small Thomas the Tank Engine puzzles, and rubber ducks for in the tub. This was an unexpected, but very welcomed surprise.

We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect place for us.

Our family of four stayed here for vacation. It was within walking distance of Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, the trolley stop, and the grocery store. It was helpful that there was a garage option so we could also have a rental car on hand to see further sights. The place was clean, comfortable and much more "homey" and restful than a hotel would have been for us. It was a great place to recharge in the evenings for our next day of sight seeing. We would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Great location! Very comfortable.

Great location! Comfortable beds. Eleanor left us some goodies from Trader Joe's, which was very nice of her. She also allowed us to put our luggage in the garage upon checkout so that we could spend some more time enjoying the city. There were 4 of us staying at the place, and we had plenty of room to stretch out. The roof top access allowed for some great views. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself in San Fran in the future.

Loving San Fran and this rental ! Fantastic owner

This rental exceeded our expectations. This pictures matched this place and was beautifully decorated with local art. Eleanor was wonderful, we arrived early in the morning and she allowed us to store our luggage so we could explore the city until check in. She met with us later in the day to explain everything in her home in great detail. Her extra touches of hospitality included coffee, fruit, pound cake from a local bakery and book of recommendations (dinner and entertainment) made us feel very welcome. I have rented before from Home Away but this rental had a bed and breakfast atmosphere which was a cut above most rentals.

If we had one thing we would have requested in the rental, it would be mirror in one of the bedrooms. My group was 2 women and it would be nice to have another mirror to use when getting ready in the mornings BUT it wouldn't stop us from renting again.

I would and have already recommended this rental to other people. The location was great, we were able to get around easy and quickly to all of our "wish list" in the city plus some of Eleanor's dining recommendations. I am saving this property ID for my next visit to San Fran !
