1. Smoking is allowed outside only. 2. Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. 3. Pets are NOT allowed. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles etc. (you would be surprised what people travel with). 4. Parking: Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). There are designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Parking space for RV's or trailers is not available - guest will have to make alternate arrangements. 5. Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided before and after each guest rental period. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. 6. BBQ: If the BBQ runs out of propane while using, the extra tanks are located under the walkway facing the creek. 7. Coffee Makers: We have provided a Tassimo for your use, and it seems very popular. But if you like a full pot of brewed coffee, there is a coffee grinder and brew coffee maker in the island cupboard for your use. 8. Hot Tub: (Instructions are also out by the hot tub) Acrylic drink ware is provided for our guests to use in the hot tub - please refrain from using breakable drink containers in the hot tub. Towels for the hot tub are located in the closet of each bedroom. No children under the age of 6 permitted in hot tub without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. We sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in the hot tub prior to your arrival and maintain during your stay. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. And we don't want anyone falling over the railing! To open the tub: while facing the hot tub lift the left half of the cover and fold over the right half, with the metal bar sandwiched between the two halves. Lift up on the metal bar and stand it up vertically, the covers simply hangs like a towel on a towel rack. Hot tub controls: Button #1 controls circulation pump: press once - low speed, twice - high speed, third time - to cancel. The circulation system will also automatically come on to maintain heat or for filtration cycles - you cannot stop this circulation. If the circulation system is on when leaving the tub, simply close the cover and the system will shut itself down automatically. The up down arrows (^ and v), control water temperature. We normally have it set to 104 degrees F. (max. temp). Reduce if you prefer or for young children. The sunlight symbol turns under water light on or off - great to have on when it is dark. All remaining buttons are deactivated. Should you want to add air bubbles to the circulating water, the manual lever (blue/grey lever) is located next to the control panel. 9. As we live in an area that wild life (bears, elk, deer, coyotes, wolves) at times roam through the community, all garbage must be taken to the Bear proof garbage bins provided by the Town of Canmore. The garbage bin is located down the alley, turn right out the door, about half way down the alley - large brown bin. Recyling can be left for housekeeping to take care of - bins are located in furnace room. 10. We have a lovely patio at the back of the house, right on the creek. It is available for your use at any time. Cushions for the chairs are in the big bin by the back stairs. Please also feel free to use the fire pit, a lovely way to spend the evening or a cooler day. And don't worry about covering the fire pit if it is still burning and you wish to go to bed as it will burn down on its own and we will cover later or the next day. 11. Our new recreation centre has opened and is located on Railway Avenue, about 3 blocks away. It has a huge pool area with recreational and lane swimming and a water slide. It also has climbing walls for beginners to experienced. A fitness centre, library and art gallery are also available. Day passes are available to buy for full facility use or swim passes only. Check it out at http://www.elevationplace.ca 12. Save-on-Foods and Safeway (our two grocery stores) are located a block and half away. Outstanding place to stay
We’ve come several times on our own, but this time our son and his little family joined us for a wonderful little get away in beautiful Canmore. It is everything we could possibly hope for and more!
Great rental Sept 24-27,2019
The property was great, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. Location couldn’t have been better. In walking distance of grocery store and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful community. I would highly recommend this property.
Perfect Canadian Rockies Boutique
My husband , son , and I enjoyed this very special
home away from home retreat , while we visited the beautiful
Banff , Jasper , and Yoho National Parks.
The Mountain View’s and the excellent accommodations were superb. We would definitely book this special getaway again.
Could not have been better.
My wife and I have stayed at numerous VRBO rentals and been highly satisfied with all of our choices, but the Towne Centre property in Canmore has topped them all. With a property owner who was easily accessible and highly responsive to any questions we had, a beautiful setting and ideal location, and spotless accommodations that were stocked with any amenities or supplies we might need, this rental will be hard to top. Anyone who might be anticipating a trip to the Canmore/Banff area should seriously consider checking this out. My wife and I certainly will whenever we visit again.
Beth’s house in Canmore is hands down the nicest rental property I have ever stayed in! The location couldn’t be better, the accommodations are fantastic and to top it off, after hiking all day in the beautiful surrounding parks, you get to rest your tired legs in a rooftop hot tub looking out upon the Three Sisters! 5 stars is not enough for Beth’s property. I would definitely book this place well in advance if I ever plan a return trip. Thanks again Beth!
The location is amazing along with the amenities provided (towels, soaps, hot tub, baby items, kitchen ware, etc.). A couple of things to note - there are two flights of stairs (one flight to kitchen and living area and another flight to the bedrooms) and the access to the backyard is not a direct access, as in open a back door and you are there. You have to go down stairs, exit the front door, and walk around the front and side of the house to access the backyard. For us, this was the most disappointing thing about the property. However, overall we enjoyed our stay at the Canmore Creek House.
Walking and cycling trails start right outside your door for the experienced or for the casual stroll to take in the breathtaking views. Maps are provided but a 2 minute walk to the Visitor's Centre in the heart of Canmore will provide you with more detailed information.
The Bow Valley hosts world renowned golf courses for the golf enthusiast. Canmore Golf and Curling Club is located 5 minutes away, Silvertip GolfCourse is 10 minutes and Stewart Creek is 15 minutes. Brewsters Golf course is 25 minutes east of town and Kananaskis Golf Courses are approximately 40 minutes to the east of town. A trip to Banff, 20 minutes away and you can golf on the Fairmont Hotel Golf course.
The Nordic Cente, just 10 minutes away offers cross country skiing for every level from novice to olympic level. Down hill ski at Mount Norquay, Lake Louise, Sunshine Kananaskis and Nakiska. Relax, refresh and revive at a number of spas yoga classes within walking distance.
