Beaufort House Rental Photos and Description

This is a wonderful little house right in the middle of the beautiful historic district of Beaufort. This is our second home - that we love - not just any rental home. We've put lots of TLC into it. We hope you'll enjoy the charm of the house, the delightful breezes from the front porch (the best porch in Beaufort, we've been told on numerous occasions), the accessibility to the downtown area with all the fabulous restaurants, shops, sightseeing, water activities, museums, and more. This town is a little piece of heaven. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Suitability:

About Nancy Fuqua

We live in Savannah, Ga and come to Beaufort whenever we have the chance. We are glad to welcome you to our home away from home. Enjoy this little piece of heaven on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina

Nancy Fuqua purchased this house in 2003

Why Nancy Fuqua chose Coastal North Carolina

We bought this house because our children went to camp as young children and worked as counselors until half-way through college at Camp Seafarer. It was the perfect location to see them on time-off and gave them a place to rest in the air-conditioning, wash clothes and have home-cooked meals during that time. We fell in love with Beaufort and hope to bring many generations of family here.

Wonderful house - great location!

  • 4 of 5

We had a fabulous long weekend in this beautiful home. The house was wonderfully comfortable and clean and had plenty of room for my husband and me, our three children and my in laws. We were able to walk easily to Front Street for dinner and shopping. Easy drives to the beach and also Harkers Island for a day trip to Cape Lookout. The front porch was great spot to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.

Such a Wonderful Place

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful home and could not have been happier or more comfortable. There were days we didn't even want to leave the house to explore Beaufort. The kitchen was large and beautiful and fully appointed, we wanted for nothing. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we were thrilled to be in a home that had such historic grace while offering modern amenities. We were within walking distance of great shops and wonderful restaurants, what a great stay!

A tranquil time in Beaufort

  • 5 of 5

This house is a must stay for anyone visiting Beaufort. It's one of the oldest homes in historic Beaufort but has been tastefully remodeled to include all of the modern conveniences. So many tasteful touches have been added to make this rental the perfect stay for those craving elegant historical comfort while also wanting to be within walking distance of the Beaufort waterfront. I also need to mention that this house has one of the most charming and relaxing front porches in all of historic Beaufort. With the combination of elegance and comfort this house is surely not to be missed. Can't wait to go back and rent it again!

It is the home of the well known Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, the Beaufort Historic Homes and Gardens Tour, lots of festivals. Beaufort has water taxis to the Shackelford Banks, sightseeing tours and a wonderful number of tours on the 'Lookout', a 60 ft catamaran. Activities abound!!! Have fun!
