In the contracting world, they call it "popping the top." However, this gorgeous second-story vacation rental studio over a garage in a historic North Boise area is more like a crown. When you walk up the stairs and enter this chic, uniquely designed space, you'll look out into the surrounding treetops and feel like you're on top of the world. Whether you're in Boise on business or a getaway, you needn't spend money on a motel chain downtown when you can stay in the privacy of a residential neighborhood just five minutes from trails and expansive views at Camel's Back Park to the east, and walking distance to the Boise River and Veteran's Memorial Park to the west. You'll also be just minutes from all the great shopping and dining in Downtown Boise.
From its staggered vaulted ceilings, to its multiple large windows, this chic, vacation rental studio is bright, comfortable, and has the feel of a much larger room. A wise use of space - like the flatscreen TV hung from the wall, and inset bookshelves - belie a tasteful and intelligent design. There are beautiful wood floors throughout. Settle into the big, plush couch and watch a movie on the DVD player after dinner. If it's hot, cool down with the central air as you sip a cold drink.
Though there's no bedroom, a half-wall separates the queen sized bed from the rest of the space, affording you a bit more privacy than the run-of-mill motel rooms with kitchenette. That extra person can bed down by pulling out the sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom is beautifully decorated with artistic fixtures like the stone, bowl-shaped sink. Lounge in the swirling warmth of the jetted tub and appreciate the intricate tile work all around you. We even have two bicycles available upon request to borrow; just give us a few days notice!
The kitchen in this charming little vacation rental studio continues the chic decor with its unorthodox cabinets, stained in a deep cherry wood tone usually reserved for dining room furniture. Coupled with the clean look of its stainless steel appliances, this kitchen is as pleasant to the eye as it is functional. If you're planning to dine out, allow some time for planning: there are 437 restaurants in and around Boise.
In your hike around Camel's Back Park - just down the street - you'll be treated to some great views of Boise. For more serious hikes, the Ridge to River Trail System, east of the city, has 130 miles of trails of varying difficulty. In town, you can climb to the top of the historic (1925) Spanish style tower at Boise Depot for a bird's-eye view of the city or stroll around the manicured grounds of Veteran's Memorial park.
Boise's historic BoDo district is just five minutes away. Opened in 2005, this charming area of restored buildings gives you a chance to learn about Boise's history as you dine and shop and the numerous businesses that call the area home. Golfers can try their luck at Warm Springs Golf Course, less than 15 minutes from this condo. Of course, there's also fishing, rafting, kayaking, and all things summer within minutes of Boise. And let's not forget winter!
Skiers: Bogus Basin is just five minutes away and, depending on on how far you're willing to travel, there are 15 ski areas in Idaho.
Whether it's business or pleasure that brings you to the "City of Trees," make this beautiful vacation rental condo your home away from home during your stay.

About Vacasa, ID - Boise / Garden Valley Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
