Lovely barn set in beautiful countryside
We've stayed a number of times at this property. It is in a beautiful countryside setting yet still close to the train station, Gatwick airport, M23 & M25 and other amenities. Deborah is a fantastic host. We recommend it.
A lovely stay at The Barn
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Barn at Alderstead Manor was a perfect spot for our family of 4. With the Merstham Station just a few minutes away it was so easy to travel in and out of London when we wanted to be in the city. The countryside was refreshing and we so enjoyed meeting Benedict (the duck) and his friends. The owner, Deborah, was a pleasure and felt we'd surly be friends if only I could have stayed longer. :) I hope we can return for another visit someday.
Home Away From Home
Our return to The Barn was even better! Renovations were much appreciated.
Same friendly atmosphere throughout our 5 week stay. Maintained to a high standard. We had a wonderful time!!
Thank you for your lovely comments Jacqui. Always such a pleasure to have tenants we can now call friends!
A surprisingly spacious property, in a beautiful location - rural for lovely walks, yet close enough to town and easy access to train station making it easy to get to London/Brighton and many other popular destinations.
The property is light and airy, lovely modern and new bathroom and kitchen. Looking out of the window there is a delightful view of a pond with Runner Ducks and fields all around.
The owners did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Spring/Summer Holiday 2011
We had a wonderful time at The Barn. We stayed for 16 days. Deborah Lee and her famly were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble! We have a child of 14 yrs with special needs and The Barn was just what we needed for a wonderful holiday. We would like to stay there again on our next visit to the U.K. They have Indian Runner Ducks at their pond which is located just outside "The Barn's front door". I really enjoy watching them and learning about their character. The scenery was just stunning with views of poppies and cornfields... just so peaceful!. We had a fun holiday there! The Barn was clean and well equipped. We'll be back!
50th birthday weekend away
We (5 ladies) stayed at the barn for a weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. The barn is set in a beautiful location, and is a lovely place to stay. Deborah is a wonderful host, putting up birthday decorations and even baking a cake for the birthday girl (which was absolutely delicious). An excellent weekend break.
Thank you for your lovely comments girls! It was a pleasure having you and I hope to welcome you again sometime in the future to The Barn @ Alderstead Manor.
