Not quite up to expectations

As a family of 6, we booked this apartment based on the description and photos on the website, assuming they were accurate. On arrival, we were told that the upper apartment with the apparently spectacular view only accommodated 4 guests, and we were relegated to the ground floor and basement, with a view of the house across the road. This was quite disappointing. I would say the property description is a bit misleading. Nonetheless, the accommodation was quite comfortable and well appointed. However, the shared laundry cost 1 euro per load, and we were charged 10 euros for wifi at the end of our visit. After paying a relatively high rental, these extra charges left us feeling "nickel and dimed". We have stayed in a number of properties that I would not hesitate to recommend. This one is different.

We unfortunately can not quite understand the criticized points, because all extra costs (washing machine, dryer, internet etc...) are transparent and also described in detail in the advertisement. Fantastic property

The property was really lovely. It was very clean, the layout was perfect for our party of 2 families. The internal garage was really handy for unloading cars and the apartment was in a great location - only a few minutes walk to shops/restaurants. The view of the mountains was great too! We will definitely be back!

Spectacular!

We have rented dozens of properties for our annual vacations and business trips. This property is BY FAR the best we have ever stayed in. We luxuriated in this in impeccable apartment for two weeks. We received family and friends that live in Germany, and they were all so impressed with it. The basement has a wonderful infrared cabin and a laundry room with multiple washers and dryers. The area is so rich in history and historic landmarks, that we were unable to get to even a fraction of them. Even if we had stayed a month we could not have made a dent! The view from our balcony of the two tallest peaks in Germany was beyond description, especially when the spectacular sunsets fell over them. Our Housekeeper, Holger was wonderful. I could write on an on………..

Fantastic property! Perfect in every way.

We have stayed in this lovely flat three times now, and it is always in perfect condition, immaculate. Well built, awesome location with amazing views of all the mountains in the area. Always as clean as only good German attention to detail can make it. Easy walk to the heart of Partenkirchen, with several nice restaurants and lots of shops just around the corner. Christian and his family are always friendly and welcoming, very attentive. My favorite part is the parking garage dug out of the stone hillside, with always a little fountain of water coming down the side and into the ground, just like a little Ludwig's grotto. Impossible to be disappointed in this place in any way. Well, ok, just the internet system is a bit odd, but good signal etc., just that it limits the number of devices and always has to be logged into again, with a silly long code. But, that's pretty minor...Go stay, you'll love it!

Fantastic Property

My husband and another couple rented Type 3 for 5 days in September 2015. The apartment was quiet, immaculate, and comfortable with fantastic interior design and views from the front balcony. The apartment was an easy walk to restaurants and a perfect location for day trips to nearby sights and Austria. The building had a convenient elevator from the interior parking garage up to our apartment. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return.
