About Louise or Danny Vella

We moved here in 2007, looking for a lifestyle that suited us, and to get away from the 'big' city.

Danny works as a self employed plumber and gasfitter, loves fishing and the outdoors.

Louise also loves the outdoors and enjoys gardening and spending time with her horse. She works as a Realtor, specializing in residential, recreational, investment and relocation property.

Louise or Danny Vella purchased this cabin in 2007

Why Louise or Danny Vella chose Sunshine Coast

We fell in love with this neighbourhood.

It's quiet and peaceful with a rural feel, but not so rural that we feel isolated. Wonderful, friendly neighbours (that we can't actually "see" from the house), great trails for walking and hiking and beaches that are rarely busy, and only minutes away.

We really enjoy the absolute quietness here. The stars at night are incredible, no traffic noise, and complete and utter silence. It is very peaceful.

What makes this cabin unique

Many properties in this area have a secondary cottage.

With such a large lot, it remains private from the main house.

Being central on the Coast means we are an easy trip to the new Gravity Moutain Biking Park, or the Skookumchuck Narrows tides, which draws 100's of visitors every year. Whatever your interests may be, our cottage is likely right in the middle of the action, without actually being in the "middle of the action".

Originally used as a fulltime rental, it has been given a fresh facelift, ready for our new visitors.

A little peace of heaven tucked away in the forest

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was meticulous and included many little extras I hadn't considered (washer/dryer, iron, hair dryer). It's very private and peaceful, yet just minutes away from the amenities. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Great villa that felt like home!

  • 5 of 5

The Villa Vella was just as it was described. When I walked in, I loved it right away. It is has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is close to many trails, minutes to Sargeant Bay Beach and only 10 minutes to Sechelt. Louise and Danny were very accommodating making sure that if I needed anything to let them know. My husband joined me part way through the trip and felt the same way about the place. Danny invited to take him out fishing, but we never did get the chance to. It is a great place and very secluded and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Great little cottage

  • 5 of 5

A short and sweet visit to the Sunshine Coast. Found the kitchen - fully stocked with pots/pans, spices, etc to be extremely useful during our stay. Everything was clean and very home-like, which was great - especially when we had a 6 month old with us.

Inbetween homes

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Vella Villa while we were waiting for possession of our new home. The cabin is perfect for our little family as we have a three year old. It's is extremely clean and well set up and maintained. It was super convenient to have a full kitchen to prepare meals and laundry in the cabin. We enjoyed the BBQ and private back patio which is conveniently covered in case of showers. This cabin is super private and extremely quiet as it's located on the back half of a 1/2 acre lot. We would defiantly recommend this cabin to our friends and family.
