Come visit us, you'll fall in love with 'The Coast'
We moved here in 2007, looking for a lifestyle that suited us, and to get away from the 'big' city.
Danny works as a self employed plumber and gasfitter, loves fishing and the outdoors.
Louise also loves the outdoors and enjoys gardening and spending time with her horse. She works as a Realtor, specializing in residential, recreational, investment and relocation property.
Louise or Danny Vella purchased this cabin in 2007
We fell in love with this neighbourhood.
It's quiet and peaceful with a rural feel, but not so rural that we feel isolated. Wonderful, friendly neighbours (that we can't actually "see" from the house), great trails for walking and hiking and beaches that are rarely busy, and only minutes away.
We really enjoy the absolute quietness here. The stars at night are incredible, no traffic noise, and complete and utter silence. It is very peaceful.
Many properties in this area have a secondary cottage.
With such a large lot, it remains private from the main house.
Being central on the Coast means we are an easy trip to the new Gravity Moutain Biking Park, or the Skookumchuck Narrows tides, which draws 100's of visitors every year. Whatever your interests may be, our cottage is likely right in the middle of the action, without actually being in the "middle of the action".
Originally used as a fulltime rental, it has been given a fresh facelift, ready for our new visitors.
A short and sweet visit to the Sunshine Coast. Found the kitchen - fully stocked with pots/pans, spices, etc to be extremely useful during our stay. Everything was clean and very home-like, which was great - especially when we had a 6 month old with us.
We stayed in the Vella Villa while we were waiting for possession of our new home. The cabin is perfect for our little family as we have a three year old. It's is extremely clean and well set up and maintained. It was super convenient to have a full kitchen to prepare meals and laundry in the cabin. We enjoyed the BBQ and private back patio which is conveniently covered in case of showers. This cabin is super private and extremely quiet as it's located on the back half of a 1/2 acre lot. We would defiantly recommend this cabin to our friends and family.
We have returned from 1 mnth. at this property. It is an excellent spot to use as a base to explore the Sunshine Coast. We recommend it.
Located almost in the middle of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Approx a 30 min drive south to Gibsons, and 30 min north to Pender Harbour.
This is the best area for outdoor recreation. Fishing, crabbing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, beachcombing, and golf. Cruise the local farmers markets, shop for original artworks by local artisans of all types, or simply pack a picnic and find a quiet beach to watch the sunset.
There is something for everyone to enjoy.
