Chicago born business woman, I am a professional photographer & living in my favorite Chicago neighborhood where I offer several beautiful loft apartments.
Offering vacation rental homes for a couple years and well reviewed on other similar sites. I am new to HomeAway and very excited to be here!
As a frequent world traveler, I've fashioned my homes to provide everything a traveler needs to spend time in a community just like a local & less like a tourist. I believe my homes are perfect for discerning travelers.
I just love photography and travel frequently to NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, San Fran and LA often to capture my favorite places or moments. Abroad travel includes Australia, U.K., London, Spain & hopefully many more countries in the near future.
I also love fine restaurants & lounges & biking / walking on the lakefront. Couldn't live without the best pizza places in the world.
Located in Old Town, voted one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the nation. My home sits in the middle of the best shopping, restaurants, nightlife the great history behind the City of Chicago. Comprised of nearly 30 interconnected structures built between 1880 and 1965, Cobbler Square Loft Apartments was formerly a Dr. Scholl’s factory. The unique complex was converted to apartments in the mid-1980s, and underwent a complete renovation in 2009. The result? One of the most interesting rental communities in Chicago.

Location location location. Walk to Mag mile, beaches, close to the L train. Old town itself is amazing-awesome restaurants, abundant amenities (bakery, liquor, coffee shops) and grocery all within walking distance. Condo was perfect for us-family of 4 with 2 teens, spacious, clean with all amenities. Beds were very comfy! Shaine was easy to deal with, always accessible. Cobbler Square Lofts is a wonderful place, everyone was friendly and polite. Would stay here again on our next visit to this awesome city!
I thought Shaine was easy to work with. When we met to get the key from her, she gave us a rundown on the neighborhood and all the good places to eat. She checked in by e-mail a couple times to see if everything was going ok. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. If I come back to Chicago, I would stay there again.
This is in a great location, a comfortable apartment with amenities, and Shaine was very responsive to our needs.
Always great to visit Old Town Chicago again !
Had a very enjoyable, trouble free stay at Shaine's place.
It was all we expected being back at Cobbler Square Lofts.
We will be back.
Thanks again to our host.
My wife and I were there for a week, and the accommodations were very nice and the location for us was convenient for walking, or to public transportation. Several nearby restaurants served our needs and wants.
Shaine was available most of the time to take car of issues and was responsive.
We would stay there again, but would request a few thinks that would make the stay easier. 1. Written instructions for the use of the TV remotes. Although we eventually figured it out it took 15-20 minutes to get the right combination and would go thru the process each time.
2. Internet Password was not in the unit. I know that Shaine would responded quickly but at 10:00pm I really didn't want to call that late. So we just used our portable mifi.
3. A few written instructions or expectations in the unit would have been helpful.
All-in-all it was great.

We stayed here for a week, as a family of four, and found the location to be ideal, with close access to public transportation, lots of restaurants, and attractions. We enjoyed walking to Lincoln Park zoo and nearby beaches, too. The condo was more than enough space for two adults and two kids. Shaine was always available by text if we had questions, and she checked in with us during the week by text, too. A very comfortable stay!
