About Frank

Hi I am a 45 years old guy from Amsterdam and I work as a human recourses consultant in the logistics industry. My partner and I have been living in the center of Amsterdam for many years, we both love Amsterdam, its compactness, its friendly atmosphere, its noisyness, its tranquility. Originally I am from the eastern part of the Netherlands (If you want to know the difference between Holland and The Netherlands I am happy to tell you when you here) and moved to Amsterdam when I was 21. My first room (student housing) was just around the corner and from that moment on I new I wanted to own an apartment in this part of the city.

Frank purchased this apartment in 2001

Why Frank chose Amsterdam

Although no longer living there we don't want to sell it because its such a nice apartment in such an ideal location.

Whenever we have family or friends over we let them stay there and everyone who has always loves the great location!

What makes this apartment unique

From the south facing balcony at the back side of the apartment you have a nice view of the gardens of the 17th century canal houses on the Prinsengracht. It is amazing how peaceful and tranquil it can be in the middle of a buzzling city like Amsterdam.

Great 5 nights in Amsterdam

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Everything went smoothly, from our check-in to our check-out. The location can not be beat; everything was nearby, yet the street itself was fairly quiet. We walked to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, to the Anne Frank House, the Hermitage, and the train station for a day trip to Delft. The apartment was well equipped and very clean, the furniture and bed were comfortable, and having a washer and dryer there after traveling was very helpful. Frank made the whole process easy. We would definitely return again and would recommend it to out friends!

Wonderful! Centrally located and lovely apartment

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is in a perfect location close to everything, shopping, food, tram line, and great coffeeshops. The apartment is lovely with plenty of room and it was great to have the washer and dryer being light travelers. Pictures were accurate and the apartment was very clean. We enjoyed the patio in the back to unwind and have wine after a day out taking in the city sites. This will be our first choice to stay on future trips to Amsterdam. Frank was prompt and gracious when replying to questions and during the booking process. Thank you, Frank!

Very nice property located in an ideal area, central and easy walking distance to all the happenings. We appreciated the bottle of wine Frank left for us and all the amenities in the kitchen and bath, especially the espresso. We'll be back!

Great locatoin

  • 5 of 5

Great location which made all tourist attractions walkable. I bought a tram pass but rarely used it.

The place was very clean and well equipped. Key transfer went smoothly.

Frank was always available if there was any problems.

Next time I return to Amsterdam I'll stay here again.

Beautiful centrally located apartment well equipped with all you need

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect! It was spacious, well-equipped and ideally suited to exploring Amsterdam. Being one block from a tram that is frequent and traverses the most significant parts of the city was helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals and the laundry facilities meant we could pack a little less for our extended vacation. The apartment is very well appointed with art and furniture that is a unique blend of classic and modern, just like the city itself. We had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend the apartment and Frank to anyone looking for a wonderful place to settle during a trip to Amsterdam!
