About Alana Burton
We lived in Spain for 10 years before returning home to West Sussex with our young family for work relocation. We really love our house in Spain and miss it so much, especially the swimming pool and numerous terraces, we try and return as often as possible as all of us love spending time there, swimming and relaxing on the chill out bed with BBQ's in the evening. A great apartment in a peaceful location
A fantastic apartment with excellent facilities. The description is accurate and comprehensive, whilst the photos give a good feel of the property. However, seeing is believing and our kids thought it was "awesome". The apartment was clean, well maintained and stocked with good quality linen, towels, kitchen appliances and an extensive range of utensils and crockery etc. The outdoor area is amazing - a large dining table, sunbeds and a chill-out bed. The Weber gas BBQ is big and a bonus for those enjoying outdoor cooking.
The owners were available when needed and provided us with information regarding the local areas. Although they live upstairs, they respect your privacy at all times.
Car hire is not essential, but is great for visiting local beaches and nearby Marbella. There are also several large supermarkets close by, but a long, hot walk away without a car.
In summary, a perfect place for those wanting luxurious holiday accomodation, a private pool and secluded garden area in a central location close to Marbella and Malaga.

Luxury Villa with splendid pool and facilities!
Property and management services made it an easy decision to book this again next summer on our return from a relaxing holiday. The villa is beautifully furnished, clean with all mod cons. Situated near some very nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend this property.

We have just had a brilliant two and half weeks at the apartment. The apartment itself, is furnished to high standard with possibly the best bed we have had while staying on a self catering holiday. Having your own heated pool has been fantastic and our one year old loved it, we took him swimming everyday, even the days that there was no sunshine, and with the outside paved area it was great for him to practice his walking, Its pretty close to most things that you will need, the beach is a good ten minute walk away and their is a big supermarket about five minutes walk though it's up hill coming back so don't go too mad with the shopping. Communication with Mike was also of a high standard, any problems were fixed straight away and he was always a text or phone call away. for example we were the first couple to stay with a small baby and he went out and bought, high chair & travel cot, brilliant effort. We are hoping to come back in September or october, that pretty much says it al!!!
We hadn't stayed in a private holiday apartment for many years and to be honest although all the photos looked very nice both of us were a little bit nervous. We shouldn't have been though as this property is simply fantastic, the pictures are totally accurate and the location is so very quiet. We had a fabulous holiday and will recommend the apartment to our friends and family.
Calahonda is a central location on the Costa del Sol situated 30 mins drive west of Malaga airport & is in between Fuengirola & Marbella. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac within a couple mins walk of "the strip" where you'll find various restaurants, bars and a mini supermarket close to the bottom of Calahonda. It is quite simple to get from the airport to The Apartment along the N340 coastal road & the A7 motorway (direction Algeciras/Marbella) We can talk anyone through the directions if needed. The local area attracts many tourists year after year and is perfectly suited for families, golfing holidays, relaxing breaks away as well as activity holidays along the coast (kids park nearby) as well as inland and offers something for everyone. Being near to the N-340 coastal road means it is easy to reach other local sights and towns very quickly and easily and there is also a motorway exit for Calahonda making it easy to get to the airport. A car hire is advisable, we can arrange a transfer to & from the airport for 50 euros each way if needed. Other Activities: Go karting, gym and fitness, all watersports,
