Less is more! There is a lot going on in this home. Overall it was fairly clean, but could use some updates in the bathrooms and a carpet cleaning. Plenty of room for the money. Most places this size, in this area are $800 more per week. The pier and deck on the lake was the BEST part... just beautiful. Eagle Lake is our favorite since it is in the middle and close to restaurants, bars and downtown. If they would trim a few of the trees you could see more of the lake from the deck which is also nice. There also isn't any flat area to set up bags or throw the baseball. Other houses are very close by.The house has everything you would need, but I just wish it wasn't so cluttered. The Jade tree has to go! It's right in the way of the view. I'm sure the home owners love it, but as a renter not so much. There are 60+ steps to the water. We didn't mind it, but if you aren't steady on your feet or have knee or hip pain it might be quite difficult. With some decluttering and a few updates this place would be great.
A lot closer to town than we had thought. Plenty of room for 6, nicely appointed rooms, clean and well cared for. Ideal for families or groups looking for nice, not fancy. Even though we were here during the winter, I'd return in the summer to take advantage of the lakefront and Eagle Lake!
Colorama in September, Cranberry Fest in October, Hunting season begins Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years, Snowmobible Derby in January, Pond Hockey in February, Fishing season begins in Spring, Summer season - boat, jetski, kayak rentals at two nearby marinas.
