This unique property, located at 839 Woodside Avenue, is a lovingly restored Miner’s home. Located just two blocks from Main Street's restaurants, shopping and nightlife, you can leave the car at the house.
In the summer, ride your bike to nearby trails or take a ride on the Town Lift. In the winter, you are only 100 yards from the Town Ski Bridge, where you can ski or board right down to the Town Lift.
This two bedroom, one bath home has been completely refurbished with all the modern conveniences, while retaining many of the original doors, glass, and hardware. There is a double bed in one bedroom, a queen in the other, and a twin in the loft. You will love the clawfoot tub, fully stocked kitchen and the large, private hot tub out back.
From the time that you send your inquiry to the time you say goodbye to Park City, you will be assisted by a Park City local that can help you out with all the details.
Walk to Historic Main Street and the slopes of Park City from Kelly's Place. This remodeled, historic home has retained as much of the original structure and charm as possible, but is well-equipped with modern comforts.
Kelly's Place was fantastic. We stayed there for just under a week (Mom, Dad, 2 teens) and it had everything we needed. Well-equipped throughout, the hot tub was great, and the garage-as-ski locker was ideal. Location is perfect if you're looking for convenience both to skiing (Town Lift!) and town. We would stay there again in a second. The only things people might want to be aware of are that if you don't have a snow-ready car, getting to and from the house can be a little tricky (you have to drive up a short hill to get to Woodside, and the city's plowing of Woodside doesn't always completely clear the street surface). You also may need to be prepared to do a little shoveling to clear your car and the porch steps and walkway down to the garage (management did always get it done, but not necessarily early enough if you wanted to get to the slopes when the lifts opened [i.e. by/before 9am]). For us that was a small price to pay to have our own place and hot tub that we didn't have to share with anyone else!
Those are minor quibbles, though, when everything else was so great, and don't detract from our 5-star review. Tim at the management company was very communicative and helpful before, during, and after our stay.
Kelly's Place is an excellent location that is walking distance to downtown Park City and the Park City Town ski lift. The hot tub that is located in the backyard, was wonderful after a day of skiing the slopes. I would agree with the other reviews that the house needs some attention. It's unfortunate that the hot tub had empty beer cans and wine bottles left from prior guests. Also, when we arrived, the beds were not made and the bathroom rugs, I laundered myself because they were dirty. Also, there was an empty shampoo bottle in the bath tub/shower. The house is a historical home with eclectic furnishings. Elizabeth was very friendly and greeted us with a delightful bottle of red wine and array of Harry and David goodies. It was nice that the management provided robes and sandals (to walk to the hot tub, etc.)
I've always wanted to stay In a mining cottage and loved this beautifully renovated home! Perfect location to walk to Town Lift and to shop and dine in Park City. Comfy beds and loved the claw foot tub (appreciated the great water pressure for showering) and enjoyed the hot tub. Elizabeth is great to work with. Totally recommend!!!
We stayed four nights at Kelly's Place. House has lots of character, nicely decorated, well-heated. The beds were comfortable, kitchen very functional, wi-fi and TV worked, hot tub was a delightful 106 degrees, washer and dryer a real plus, plenty of hot water, 4-minute walk to main street and restaurants and the town lift. It was PERFECT for long weekend ski trip.
Short walk to the town lift, restaurants and shopping. Quaint house with everything that you would need for an excellent vacation. Loved the hot tub; icing on the cake. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with. We'll be back!
The house is in a great location and the manager responded quickly to questions. Easy walk to get to all of the restaurants/bars along Main Street and the Park City slopes. Minor problems with hot tub not working properly, fireplace not functioning, hot tub not heating properly (it was fixed the next day), and TV in one of the bedrooms not working.
Located in the heart of Historic Old Town Park City, the location of this property is sure to enhance your vacation experience!
Be sure to experience walking on to the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort and walking home from the myriad bars and restaurants of Main Street in downtown Park City!
