My husband and I decided to spend our 25th wedding anniversary at this wonderful condo. The condo itself is tasteful and elegant, but at the same time, very comfortable. I felt like I was visiting a good friend's Hawaiian home. There are many special touches including flower arrangements, and art work. It's so peaceful and relaxing. If you decide you want to cook, all you need to buy is the food. The kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed having coffee and watching the parade of birds on the lanai. If you want to go out, there are lots of dining options nearby. Nan left a binder full of ideas for eating out, sightseeing, shopping, even places to listen to music The lanai looks out over a grassy area, then fish ponds, then the ocean; you can see just a sliver from the living area. It's a short walk to the water's edge, and the views from there are even more spectacular. This condo allows you access to the Beach Club, and their parking facility. We snorkeled there a few times and really enjoyed it.( Make sure you get a mask that fits!)We also had lunch at their restaurant. If you want a special dining experience, go to Canoe House at the Mauna Lani Bay and Bungalows Resort. They gave us a great table for our anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and the sunset was glorious. If I ever return to the Big Island, I would stay here again. Nan, thank you for a wonderful place to spend our anniversary. We have so many pictures and memories of our time there. We absolutely loved it.
This lovely rental located at the famous Mauna Lani property overlooks the uniquely picturesque fish ponds and the ocean beyond. The unit is ideal in that it offers privacy and beauty combined with easy access to everything you could want or need. It is attractive, very comfortable, well cared for, and fully equipped! We have been to the Mauna Lani property many, many times and this most recent stay was one of our favorites!
The owners provided us with great service in every way.
Oh, and I should mention .... The beaches, the snorkeling, the pool, the view, the restaurants, the barbecue area, the vast lawns, the fish pond and coastal trails ALL help to make the experience even more magical!
We will be back! Aloha!!
Owner is personable and is generous with sharing history of area. They will also send you events that will be happening during your stay in the area.
My family enjoy staying at this convenient location at Mauna Lani.
Incredible spot at the Mauna Lani Terrace. Great quiet spot with great private beach that you can walk to. Restaurants and grocery store very close. Local music played at the nearby shops that was alot of fun. Great pool area to relax and take a nap. The condo has two great bedrooms and baths, full kitchen and quiet lanai to enjoy your coffee or cocktails. I would highly recommend this unit and can't wait to return.
Mauna Lani Terrace is well located for all the spots to see & things to do on the Big Island; & yet personifies the spirit of Aloha, so save time for an afternoon or 2 of relaxing. We went with friends, & it was perfect for the 2 couples to spend time together & apart. They are a golfer & a shopper, we are a hiker/runner & a former athletic type who has limitations. We all agree on Mai-Tais. Thanks Nan for sharing your lovely place!
We enjoyed our stay at Mauna Lani terrace! Comfortable beds and a beautiful view. We liked being set back a little from the ocean front. It was just a short and pleasant walk to the restaurants, beach, snorkeling, coffee shop, grocery. Loved the ajacent Hawaiian fish ponds park. Fast internet too. Thanks Nan!
