Thank you! We had a great time and were sad to leave yesterday. Just the unplugged vacation we needed.
We loved this house. It is close to West Jefferson and Glendale Springs but you feel like you are a million miles away. Very clean and comfortable. Great deck in the back for stargazing.
We absolutely loved this home! If you are looking for a truly peaceful getaway, this is the place to go. No distractions from the daily grind. Stunning mountain views with complete peace and quiet. I would recommend this rental for anyone. It was terrific!
The Glendale House is a great getaway from the demands and the fast pace of life. I personally like the fact that it was secluded and that a TV was not present at the house. Some of my favorite memories include watching the fog roll into the valley in the evening, listening to the katydids at night, rocking on the front porch with a fresh cup of coffee and watching my son play in the yard with his Grandma. I hope we will return soon.
The cabin was charming and allowed for a wonderful two night stay in the mountains. It was rather hot inside during our stay but that kind of weather, I know is rare for the area. The view and wildlife was magnificent.
This charming house was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway weekend. Kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of comfortable amenities that made it easy to relax. The owners were easy to reach and made sure we were checked in and comfortable the day of our arrival. Great options nearby for hiking and other outdoor activities, and good restaurants in the area. But you don't really need to leave the house if you don't want to. Sit on the back deck with a book and enjoy the views and solitude.
If you are looking for something that is quiet and where wildlife abound - this is the place. We enjoyed a long weekend at the Glendale House. The views are beautiful, the birds are active and it is total relaxation. The house is well stocked and comfortable.
