The house was exactly as advertised.
Thanks for visiting, hope to see you again.
It's a beautiful house, it is well stocked for all your needs.
The view is incredible. Although it was foggy most of our stay and a little scary as city people to drive up and down the mountain in the fog. It nestled between Hendersonville and Asheville conveniently. Had some minor issues with the gate and a grumpy neighbor, and the first day we couldn't get the hot water heaters on. Despite those minor issues the manager was available, prompt and helpful in resolving them.
It's a beautiful house with beautiful view, reasonable price and great location for activities.
Breath taking views!
The house is just as the pictures show, it has amazing views from the second floor. It was very well appointed, the kitchen has everything you need. The back porch has a grill and outdoor dining area. If your looking for a mountain retreat this is it!
The area was further away from Asheville because of the winding roads but the escape was worth the drive. The area round the house does not have much to offer but if you are willing to drive to an hour or so there are larger cities to explore. For us we truly wanted peace and quite with no set agenda, it is exactly what we got!
DD, Very happy that you enjoyed your stay. These mountains are amazing.
Gorgeous house, beautiful sunset views!
Our family came up for a long weekend and we loved this house! Great location near chimney rock and lake lure. Amazing sunset views. The house is new, clean and very nicely laid out. They even have an elevator if you need it. We look forward to coming back!
Glad that you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to seeing you again.
The view is worth the cost and drive
We came here on a family reunion with three kids (1, 2, and 4 years old) and five adults. The house was adequate size for us, although the kids playing upstairs in the living area did make noise in the downstairs bedrooms. The view is nearly 180 degrees - one of the best we've seen in the Southern App mountains. There is a large tulip poplar blocking a portion of this view. There are three decks which allow people to spread out and enjoy the view with some privacy. We had some problem with bee/wasp stings on the decks, however. These were to be expected. Communciation with the manager was very fast and easy. The place was very very clean, well decorated, and well organized. There were a lot of kitchen and cleaning things, more than most other vacation rentals. Having the 2-car garage cleared out was nice, so we could park vehicles in there. We had 3 vehicles total, and without the garage we would have had to double park all of them - the drive way is tight and on the mountain side. This is a beautiful place and it is being managed very well.
Mr B. Thank you for the feedback, glad that you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again.
Wonderful home and Splendid view. Extremely clean. Only glitch was not having propane for grill when we were prepared to grill steaks. Didn't receive new propane tank until our final night.
Chimney Rock State Park is located about 8 miles away. Historic Downtown Hendersonville is just 18 miles SW of the house. Asheville is about 30 minutes away. No pets allowed. Any sign of pets will put your deposit at risk.
