A quiet spot with a beautiful interior.
Good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds. Each of the 4 bedrooms had it's own bathroom. Beautiful dark hardwood floors. Under portico covered parking. Large open floor plan with comfortable couch and large dinning table. Piano. No oven or burner - so you will have to eat out or bring it in - but there is a gas grille outside. Fridge is smallish. Overall - had a great stay!
Beautifully built, quiet and clean.
My family of 6 enjoyed our 4-night stay over the Cornell graduation weekend. The bedrooms are very big, the bathrooms sparkling clean and the distance from Ithaca just right. We would rent again in a heartbeat.
clean cottage close to ithaca
We stayed at this home while dropping our son off at Cornell. It was very close to Ithaca and easy to get into town, as well as the airport. We were a bit disappointed at the kitchenette, as we were sure that the photos we had viewed upon renting showed a full kitchen. There are several properties available, so it is important to make sure you are reviewing the correct photos/home. The rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms, and the home was very clean. We did not feel the beds were particularly comfortable.
Maureen was very helpful and happy to help us in every way!
Close Friends Gathering Wedding in Ithaca
The Ridge Estate Estate Guest House was IDEAL for our weekend in Ithaca! We had fun reading VRBO reviews and finding this perfect place during the winter when the wedding date was announced. We were not disappointed. With three huge bedrooms and one large bedroom (all with their own lovely baths) (SEE PICTURES), each couple had time and space to prepare for the wedding. Additionally, there was a lovely large table and sectional inside and a porch outside to gather together. The VRBO was impeccably clean with beautifully shiny wood floor, extra thick moldings, and gorgeous bathrooms. We were prepared for the mini kitchen which is clearly stated and suited our needs just fine...providing plates for our breakfast breads and glasses for our wine. Thanks, Maureen for the Keurig and all the coffee choices. Lovely. You really thought of everything.
........With each bedroom having it's own key (as did the front door), I see how guests could rent just one room individually if that suited their needs. It would function just like a B and B type place with a beautiful indoor and outdoor common area for all the guests. Have a wonderful summer, and thanks for everything.
My family and I stayed for a week to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. The house was very clean and comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and well maintained. We had a heat wave during our stay and the owner provided a portable A/C unit to help reduce the heat and add to our comfort. The guesthouse is attached to other units, but still private. The grounds are very relaxing. It's a 20 minute drive into Ithaca and about 1 hour 15 min to the vineyards on Keuka Lake (recommend the Ravines and Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Vineyards) also recommend the Watkins Glen State Park near Seneca Lake. We enjoyed our stay!
