This 2 bedroom loft apartment is located on the 2nd floor (considered as the 3rd floor in the US and Canada) of a smart renovated building with elevator and a security system in Kings Cross, London. It is a very large apartment- 120 m2 (1300 ft²) and it has a 35 m2 (375 ft²) private terrace with patio furniture and bamboo plants.

The living room features hardwood floors, exposed beams, white walls and minimalist modern furnishings. The seating area of the living room contains two comfortable sofas, coffee table and TV with DVD player. A large window takes up the entire eastern wall and gives access to the balcony. There is also a round glass table in front of the window where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. The dining area can be found on the other side of the open living room. There is a dining table that seats 6 and a fully equipped modern kitchen.

The apartment has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed or twin beds (your choice). There is also a king size bed in the living room. The modern bathroom contains a shower, WC and washbasin with a large mirror.

This luxury apartment overlooks a quiet street, and the windows are double glazed, to ensure your stay is as relaxing as possible. There is a picturesque canal just two blocks away, with waterside restaurants and a nature reserve. Walking along the canal you can reach Camden Market, Regents Park, London Zoo and many other places of interest.

A Waitrose supermarket is just 3 minutes walk away. Furthermore, there restaurants and shops for every budget in the neighborhood, and Kings Cross Station is just 3 minutes walk away. Not only a must for Harry Potter fans, this station also makes it easy to take a day trip to other UK cities. Kings Cross is also a London Underground station, and gives access to the Circle, Northern, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan subway lines.

St. Pancras Station is just 7 minutes walk from the apartment, where the Eurostar will take you to Paris in 2 hours 15 minutes.

Check-in from 2pm, and check-out by 10am unless otherwise agreed.

Guests will be requested to sign a short contract and provide a passport to be copied on arrival.

Smoking is only permitted on the terrace.

Great accommodation!

If we return to London, Paul's apartment is the apartment we will book. The location is perfect, 3 minute walk to Kings Cross. It is close to restaurants and an excellent grocery store. We looked forward to coming home each evening and cooking dinner in his well stocked kitchen and relaxing in his spacious apartment. Beds are comfortable,. The washer and dryer were a bonus. Paul is very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you.

Nice place in a great location!

We had a very nice stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The flat is an easy train ride from Heathrow. Sherry met us and gave us a quick tour of the flat and tips on local shopping. Do ask her to point out the location of the washer and dryer; the flat has lots of doors and it took a while to hunt down the washer behind an inset door with no handle.

The location is ideal for tourists, a perfect alternative to the hustle and bustle of a hotel in Covent Garden or other tourist center. We were able to get all the basics at the nearby supermarket as well as some delicious freshly baked goods. There are also numerous cafes a step or two away, and restaurants just a little farther. The Tube is a 10 minute walk and only a stop or two from all the sites, theaters, museums, dining, and shopping. We also took an Uber once or twice, which arrived in about 2 min and took us to central London in less than 15 min for less than 10 pounds.

The flat is well managed. We had a few glitches which the owner handled promptly. Also, Delta changed our outgoing flight to a later time and he was very gracious in giving us a slightly later checkout time.

The flat was clean and well equipped with most everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a few extra towels, and some extra blankets. The heat worked perfectly, but we enjoy turning the heat down and lounging around with blankets, no big deal but would have been nice.

Our only actual complaint had nothing at all to do with the quality or management of the flat. There happened to be a large and very noisy construction project going on in the building directly next door. They started promptly at 8AM every morning, so forget about sleeping in. Also, we avoided opening the curtains because there were men on the roof with a direct view in. They probably didn't give a care about us, but it's uncomfortable all the same. Of course construction is part of the deal in any major city, but if you're planning a stay here, you might want to see whether the project right next door has completed.

So bottom line, this is a super nice place in an ideal location and you can expect any issue you might have to be dealt with quickly and competently.

Great Property and great location.

Really close to the underground so getting around London is a breeze. Comfortable beds and a nice kitchen, makes it feel like you are coming home. The property is close to some very nice restaurants and grocery stores. Not to mention some very fun pubs!!

We had a lovely time at the apartment. It is in a great location for restaurants and grocery stores. Great location to hit up London. Apartment had everything we needed to enjoy the week with our four year old son.

Spacious and clean

Our family (2 adults & 1 child) enjoyed our 9 days in London. Paul's flat provided plenty of space. It was wonderful to have laundry and a kitchen. The weather was unusually hot so we appreciated the fan and the large patio. The location worked great for us; near kings cross station as well as a large Waitrose grocery and great restaurants. Sherry was very helpful when we arrived. The only downside was the noisy construction at the new building next door during daytime hours. Hopefully it wIll be finished soon. Overall this is a great unit and I highly recommend it.

Spacious and comfortable

The apartment is conveniently located - close to stations, shops and some tourist sites. It is secure, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. The owner, Paul, was most helpful and obliging in all our arranging contacts. There were 6 of us - grandparents, parents and 2 young children and we would all gladly stay there again. The only negative - we were fortunate to be staying there during warm summer days. The 2 children found the 2nd {windowless) bedroom to be very hot and stuffy, even though we left the double doors open and the large windows of the open plan area were wide open. (Air-conditioning would have helped!) We heartily recommend the apartment as an ideal base for a stay in London - without a car.
