We bought this property because we love the water, riding ATV's, and snowmobiling. The picture above is actually from our deck, which I thought is pretty neat. We are from Wildwood, Missouri and this is our home away from home. We are just so glad that other people can experience being in Upper Michigan and get to see what we have been enjoying for 4 years now.
Tom Hugé purchased this cabin in 2008
We bought the property because of the large amount of space on the lake. We wanted to make sure that we had direct access to the lake for the snowmobiles, boats, and for fishing.
Our favorite part about the house is the Jacuzzi and the back deck overlooking the lake. There is nothing more calming and relaxing than watching the snow fall or the waves roll in on a cool summer afternoon.
You have a very nice place! We all enjoyed staying there. After looking at the pictures throughout the house, it’s nice to know we share very similar interests ie, snowmobiling, boating, kicking back a few cocktails and just having fun. We have people in our group that have been coming up snowmobiling for over 35 years including myself. We also have people in the group that have been going to the Ozarks for over 35 years. I have just recently started taking my family to the Ozarks. Anyway, thanks again and hopefully we can stay there again some day!! -Kevin
We have a group of 12 friends that rents a cabin every summer for a long weekend away! This place was perfect for us! The house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out! We spent our days out on the dock and floating around in the water. There are no weeds at the end of the dock so it was perfect for swimming. The deck is huge! We were all able to hang out together on it. The yard was perfect for bag toss and ladder golf tournaments! The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The owner was amazing at responding to any questions we had. It had rained for over a week before we arrived to the cabin so Mosquitos were bad at night but there isn't much you can do about that! Bring bug spray! The sunsets over the lake were absolutely beautiful! There is a pool table, hot tub, and ping pong table all in the basement. We didn't really use any of it because the weather was to beautiful not to be outside! We had an amazing weekend here and wouldn't hesitate to come back next year! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend away to relax!
A beautiful location and a very well kept and clean property. Great customer service from the owner.
Went for a fishing trip with my family.Yes there are plenty of fish in that lake.
What a beautiful home Tom built. We all fit in the front room to watch our Black Hawks kick some butt
Had a great time playing ping pong downstairs
Pool table is fine could be in a better angle. Some tough shots by the pole
Kitchin is great Huge fridge plus one down stairs is very helpful
Stop in Eagleriver to shop for supplies ie beer as there aint much once your there
Thinking I need to come back for some snowmobiling
Less mosqitoes yikes to be expected
wish it would let me give it a half more star Its very close to being 5
My friends and I had a perfect relaxing stay at this location. There were only four of us but the space was excellent. I would definitely bring more people next time. Everything (the dock, fire pit, porch, jacuzzi, etc.) left us feeling like we were away for weeks! I will definitely come back to enjoy this home again!
I could not have picked a better place to stay. Was a fantastic vacation for the southern side of my family from Alabama. I think they are all ready to come back next year as long as the temp is about 10 degrees warmer. Have stayed at 2 places on the west side of the lake in the past, Labrador point is by far a much better place to stay. Will be staying here again.
This was our second trip to Labrador Point. It's an excellent place for a guys snowmobile trip. Right on the lake and quick access to trails and the "hot spots" on the lake for warming up. I can't say enough about how easy it is to work with this owner, they are extremely courteous, gracious and happy to make sure your stay is everything it should be. The home is in excellent condition and the hot tub is a welcome respite from the day on the trails. Plenty of space for people and gear. We had 14 men with 14 sleds and there was plenty of room inside and out. Thank you for letting us stay!
