First experience of Airbnb
Clean, quiet accommodation. Pleasant location. Convenient for subway, shops, cafes, churches etc.
This place was excellent. Very clean and everything worked well. The room was quiet, and the bed super comfortable. I did not get to meet Katrina but she kept in touch by text message and was very helpful. Highly recommended.
Great Place, Nice Host
This is a really great apartment and very comfortable. The host was super friendly and had all of the instructions laid out for the unit. Highly recommend.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Our only issue was with it being a bit noisy at nighttime. A lively nocturnal community! We experienced a significant (albeit random) problem with the shower plumbing. The owner (delightful and very accommodating) was right on it and instructed the building’s maintenance people to fix it immediately (on a Sunday). Thanks K.
Washington Heights Hideaway
Katrina was consistently available, helpful, and responsive. The space was clean and comfortable. I hope to stay there again. It's a great place to stay.
Great studio, great location.
My wife and I rented the studio for two nights. Katrina met us at the apartment and was very helpful. She answered text messages quickly. The studio was very clean and neat with new appliances and fixtures. With the stove you could probably fix as large a meal as you want, but who comes to NYC to cook? Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room in the studio. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub. Two flights of steps up from the street so not a problem. It is only half a block off of Broadway. There are many restaurants in the area (Coral Diner, Coogan's, many Dominican) and there is a grocery store at each end of the street. The neighborhood is good and quiet (for NYC), our son lives in the area and we have stayed in the area numerous times over the past several years. We didn't know the Metro Station at 163st and Amsterdam is closed for renovation however there are several others nearby on 168th and 155th.
