This house was clean, tasteful, comfortable and well equipped. There is one step down into hallway to bedrooms. This wasn't a problem for us, but it would be if there was a handicap person in your group. The house is in a slightly commercial area but was still quiet and safe. The view of deer feeding in the back yard was a bonus during breakfast. Located close to Pinehurst club house and village. We would stay there again.
We loved our stay at the Moonshine Cottage. The property is well maintained and provided our family of five everything we needed for a comfortable get away. Be persistent with Google maps it was a little funky with the address and I would upgrade the coffee maker. Every morning we watched a herd of deer while enjoying our breakfast.
My 2 brothers and I stayed here for a golf weekend. Very comfortable. Nice big screen TV. Had everything we needed. Nothing we did not. Kim, thanks for putting in the new gas grill, but we decided to go out to dinner instead!
I was in town for a wedding and visiting my sister, and it was just perfect, right down to every detail. So nice and clean, cozy and a great location. The porch was relaxing and even had a couple deer pay us a visit drinking our morning coffee. The owner Kim was friendly and helpful to make sure we were happy with our stay. When I come back to Pinehurst, I will definitely stay here again.
There were three of us were visiting Pinehurst on a 5 day golf trip and the place was the perfect size.
It is in a great location within walking distance to restaurants. It was also very clean and well stocked with everything we could need.
The only downside was the outdoor grill. The burner appeared to be completed corroded and collapsed in the middle so we did not even attempt to use it.
All in all the house provided excellent value and we would definitely stay here again.
Loved this home, it was very clean and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Love the deer that visit at least once a day right in the backyard! I would definitely recommend to anyone as a great place to stay.
