I was born and raised in El Paso.. I have traveled extensively in the US and Europe as a military wife. I raised family in EL Paso. I love getting away from the Ell Paso heat and spending cooler temperatures here in Ruidoso. I love it here. Even winters are nice here in Ruidoso. I do not get much snow in El Paso. I am a realtor and my hobbies include painting, crafts, and sewing. I love bringing my grand children up here in the cabin. I love the art community here in Ruidoso and the tranquil atmosphere which gives me many inspirational moments.
Marta Mijarez purchased this cabin in 2011
We have spent many weekends in Ruidoso since it is only a two hour drive and gives us a 20 degree cooler environment to enjoy. Each time we came we had a good time and wished for more weekends or weeks where we could enjoy ourselves unwinding in this peaceful safe community. We finally bought our cabin and love it. We love that our cabin is bright, open clean with nice comfortable furniture and luxurious beds. We wanted to share this cabin, because some of our cabin rental experiences were a let down. We hope that other couples or families enjoy our cabin as much as we do.
We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. It was our 34th wedding anniversary & we wanted a restful, quiet place to get away. It was perfect! Very secluded & quiet! You are very blessed to have such a wonderful place to share with others! We spent our honeymoon in Ruidoso at the Swiss Chalet! We have come a long way!! Thanks again for letting us lease your beautiful place.

This house was perfect for our little family! It was so cozy and it felt really homey. It was in a great location close to everything in town! We are definitely planning another stay!
My husband, children and I spent Labor Day weekend 2016 at the "Bearadise" property. It was my first trip to Ruidoso since I was a child. Marta is absolutely delightful. This is not the first time we have used VRBO for vacation rentals, but it IS the first time that the owner has provided breakfast for us. She left bacon, eggs, bread, and orange juice for us to enjoy. She was also gracious in letting us check in early and check out late, because she didn't have any other guests arriving that day. Once we got home, I discovered that one of the pillow cases from the guest room had made it back to Texas with my daughter's dirty clothes. I immediately called Marta to arrange the return, and she was gracious and kind. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and using the hot tub. Special hot tub towels are provided, along with a pair of comfy bath robes. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was adequately stocked, and the bathrooms were updated and clean. The home is in a fairly populated area of town, and that is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would really like to give 4 1/2 stars. From the pictures, I thought this cabin was in an area surrounded by trees. You can't tell from the pics that there is another house mere feet from this one, and that the "woods" surrounding the house are almost inaccessible on foot. I was hoping for a place to hang my hammock and relax. With the house on one side, and some debris on the other side, that proved to be a challenge. That being said, we really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay - the cabin was very cozy & clean. Love the decor! It was well stocked in the kitchen and there were plenty of towels available . The owner was kind enough to leave us some breakfast items and cokes. I didn't get to see a bear, but we saw plenty of deer hanging around. We were looking for some relax time & we got just that. We would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you, Marta!
This was our first time to stay here , but definatly won't be our last ! I would give this 9's and 10's across the board ! The owner wants to satisfy , and is as easy to talk to as my own mother ! Not far off the main road , but not ( in town ) . Quiet , wildlife , roomy , and easy to settle in ! We can't wait to rent this one again !
We had a great time. The Cabin is as described. It was clean and functional. It is very close to town and not far from Ski Apache. We came for Spring Break and we enjoyed the deer every morning and evening. We even saw a very large Elk on our way up to the cabin. We cooked outside and enjoyed the facilities. Plenty of cooking equipment as well as towels and everything you need. We even had Eggs, Juice, Bacon and water left for us from the owners. I would recommend this location as it is close to most everything that you want to do.
We enjoyed the cabin very much. The kids enjoyed hiking through the woods behind the house immensely! We wish it would have had a bit more of a yard for the kids to have their nerf wars and such, but overall it wad a nice place to relax and play a few board games. Thanks for sharing your space!
