Great property, great location, comfortable for many
This place has fun accommodations for many people and could easily sleep even more than the 10 guys that we tried to fill it with
The only downfall for us was having to leave this home!!
We stayed at this beautiful home in april. We have stayed in lots of places in tahoe but this home was a topper for our family of 10! From the sign that welcomed us personally written in chalk to the table topic game we played after dinner! Everything about this home was/is amazing! The hot tub area was a hit with all 4 kids from 3yrs old to 16yrs old. So much space for our 3 families! This home has it all! Kitchen has everything you could need tons of towels tons of blankets! Just a great home! We will be booking this home for summer as well! Thank you for letting us stay at The Steelhead Lodge! We loved it!!
Beautiful, cozy cabin

Terrific weekend getaway!!
We found your home very welcoming; warm; spacious, inviting, comfortable, and relaxing, Living room was very nice and the kids found the downstairs playroom wonderful. We stayed in your home for a soccer tournament in the Truckee area and if we play again next year, we hope to rent your home again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
We had a great time- we had a family of 9 and we all loved the house.
We had a family of 9 and the open lay out was perfect for all the kids. The house came with everything and we mean everything. From spices to cook with to toys and towels for the beach. A fenced in backyard for games and the kids to run around. The front yard was another great feature to have an early morning cup of coffee on or sit and watch the kids play on the large rocks. Lots of sleeping space and areas to relax in. We will definitely be coming to this house!!
It's a HomeRun!
We planned our trip a year in advance. I had come to Incline Village to visit my business partner a few years ago. While visiting him we spent a lot of time in Kings Beach. From eating at the Log Cabin for breakfast and ice cream, to paddle boarding at Adrift. I fell in love with Kings Beach and thoroughly enjoyed the laid back vibe. When I began planning our trip I found this home and it caught my attention for several reasons. One was the price, it was pretty reasonable considering the size of my family of 8. Also the proximity to the beach and main strip. Lastly it's right next door to a Catholic church. (which did not have mass any day we were there---bummer) After I made the reservation I second guessed my decision wondering if I should have got a place with a lake view, or one with a hot tub, or etc.... I stayed with the decision and I am so glad!! When we arrived the parking lot is HUGE, spacious, so is the front yard. The pictures of the front porch need to be updated as they have beautiful teak furniture. The home inside is wonderful, it had everything we need down to every last detail. The home is spacious, neat, and updated. Ping pong was a hit! The large screen TV's are current and came with cable and Netflix. I was surprised that the home didn't have AC but after talking to my business partner he said none of the homes up there do. We opened all of the windows and it was fine. At night it got into the 40's and 50's so every morning we used the fire place. We brought our bicycles and having the fenced in yard was a great place to put them. It was equipped with a hose to wash off after being at the lake. We felt safe and a neighbor Tom across the street in the Mint green house was extremely nice and let us know when our children had ridden out into the street. Ended up hitting it off with him and he is a super special guy. It's a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed walking every day as we come from the suburbs of Tulsa, and you have to drive everywhere. The weather is perfection. We enjoyed hiking at Eagle's Point down the West Side of Lake Tahoe, a drive up to Truckee is right up the road, Squaw Valley is close by as well. South Lake Tahoe is not for us as it's just another commercialized spot. King's Beach reminds us of the movie "The Great Outdoors" Thank you for making our vacation a home run.
