A Place To RE-Balance and RE-Rejuvenate

Are you ready to Re-balance? Find your center again? Enjoy the California Riviera? Drink in the beautiful rose colored Santa Barbara mountains out your windows? Relax by the fountain in your private courtyard on our 1 1/2 acres of solitude?

We have created a space of harmony and beauty for you to rejuvenate in.

You are welcome to bring your children. Bring your pet. Bring your best friend. Or come with just that someone special. However.........we know that some of the best retreats are when you come ALONE!

Relax in our King sized bed with luxury linens in the downstairs bedroom.

The Sleeping Loft has the world's most comfortable Queen bed located up in a space with large windows on one side. Like sleeping in a luxury tree house. This space is great for kids or adventurous adults! The ceiling is sloped so expect to stand up on one side of the bed only! :)

Cook in a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. (We personally love the dishwasher.............hand wash if you like, but the dishwasher was put there for your service. Who wants to deal with dishes on retreat)? There is also a full size washer and dryer in the Cottage for your convenience.

We have provided a writing desk in a cozy corner with a view of the mountains, a flat screen television, cozy soft couches, brand new glass tiled bathroom, private grass courtyard that is sunny all afternoon, huge french doors that look out onto a gurgling fountain, all done in a manner to soothe your senses and bathe you in serenity.

Come here to RELAX!

Have an onsite massage by one of the finest massage therapists in Santa Barbara (San Ysidro Ranch utilizes her services)! Or choose to have your massage outside in the courtyard!

We will stock your fridge with organic ingredients if your desire. If you don't feel like cooking, let us offer organic food served to your door by some of the best chefs around. Vegan? No problem. Want steak? We know where to get that. Craving Indian? One of our best friends is a renown Ayurvedic personal chef in town.

You can come for a HEALTH RETREAT and sign up for one of our health tracks that can include: a nutrition consult, juicing, supplement makeover, exercise recommendations and health analyses. All done by a licensed and experienced Nurse Practitioner.

We know that whatever type of retreat that you choose, you will find StillPoint Sanctuary a place you will long to come back to. We are looking forward to your visit.

Cozy and quiet

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cozy country cottage. It’s quiet and lush. My husband was lucky enough to spot to deer early in the morning. The cottage can easily accommodate 4 adults.

Private and Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to return next year. It was very hot inside when we arrived, but it cooled down after we turned on the fans and opened more windows. The loft stayed pretty warm, but we didn't use it this time since it was just the two of us. The home had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The only suggestion we have is to add a blender to the kitchen and another wash cloth would have been nice in the bathroom (we only had one). Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was our first time to use VRBO and it worked out great!

Private, Natural Oasis in Montecito Hills

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed almost a week at this property and it was just perfect for us. We had some reservations about staying in the guest house of a larger home (we like privacy!), but we found we had all the privacy we needed because of the way they have constructed it. We ran into Jill, the owner, one time and had a quick introduction and chat and that was the last we came into contact. As for the unit, tall french doors lead to a small, landscaped stone courtyard with a wonderfully soothing water feature. We left at least one door open quite often as we enjoyed the sound and the frequent hummingbirds. Kitchen is new, with soft closing doors, quartz counters and a great gas range. View of the mountain range from the under mounted sink. Nice full size washer and dryer helped with beach towels, etc. Very comfortable sheets and linens on the king size bed, and I found the upstairs queen bed (in the loft) very cozy to read or nap. Two portable a/c units keep things cool, but we found we only used them in the afternoon heat. One of the best beaches in Santa Barbara is less than 10 minutes down the hill, along with great food and shopping. Just far enough to be away and just close enough to access everything!! Overall, despite a small amount of wear and tear ( a bit of wear to bathroom vanity, small tear to loft carpet, a touch up of paint in a few spots in the loft) we would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was an excellent choice in our price range and felt we sacrificed nothing in lieu of the expense of a fancy hotel. Thank you, Jill, for providing an upscale, affordable vacation option!!

NOTES: the weather was quite mild (78 for a high) during our visit, you may need to run the a/c more frequently if you are visiting during a heat wave. If you like to take baths, bring a flat, plastic disc as a stopper as the mechanism for the tub is non functioning. If you like to do yoga or stretch, the laminate floors are pretty hard so bring a yoga mat.

Good location but a bit pricey

  • 3 of 5

The apartment was clean & well kept. The loft has a full size bed but the ceiling is very low and there's no space except for the bed. If you're traveling with small children, it will work fine. The driveway was challenging as you have to reverse a ways to get back onto the road. Great views but a bit pricey for what you get.

Santa Barbara is a place to be outside!

The beaches are great. We mountain bike, hike, walk, beachcomb, watch the wild parrots on our property, surf, swim and sail.

The wineries are beautiful and serve some of the best wine in the world! Take in the food from some of the best chefs around and you will be in heaven.

Want theatre and live music? We several live venues both indoor and outside to take in the culture.

We have a variety of museums to see. The shopping is great, everything from haute couture to local artists.

Visit the farmer's markets happening every day of the week and bring home dinner.

You will not run out of activities to see and do here.
