This elegant and cozy Netarts home sits secluded just above the beach with amazing views of the bay and ocean. It's the perfect place to get away from it all!
The house is surrounded by nature - bordered by Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean and a quiet street in front. To get to the beach, you may use the beach access behind the house (with steps and a handrail, but be aware, it is a little steep, or stroll for a few minutes down the street to a public access spot. You can also get in your car and drive down Pearl street to a nice beach access with parking (no steps or climbing).
The vacation rental is perfect for guests who want to spend time together, but also need a separate space to get away for a bit. You will enjoy regular sightings of bald eagles, brown pelicans, sea lions, and great blue herons from the large windows. The living room boasts a couch and two wicker chairs for relaxing nights in front of the TV.
The kitchen has all the necessary accoutrements to make a worthwhile repast for the whole family. There's also a dining area to enjoy it all.
The upper level is ideal for parents, with a queen-bedded bedroom and bathroom available. The lower level is perfect for children and friends, with two bedrooms featuring twin bunk beds and a family room with a futon. This home is also pet-friendly, and you're welcome to bring your dogs along with you for an additional fee.
Guests can rent a boat and crab pots just walking distance from the house and pull Dungeness crab right from the bay. Another popular activity is digging for clams - gapers, butters, littlenecks, cockles and other clams are in abundance here. Netarts Bay is also known for the cultivation of oysters, which are not available for picking. Any big shopping is done in Tillamook, which is only seven miles away. Otherwise, locally, there are small grocery stores and a few tiny restaurants and shops. If you want a great meal with an incredible view, stop by The Scooner, just down the road.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The views from this house are amazing and the location is wonderful for a quiet area. The walk behind the house is very, very steep and there are not stairs all the way down. The kitchen is well equipped but some of the furniture is not wearing well. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean on the inside. Good place for a couple or a couple with 2-3 children. Small living space.
We were delighted to find a place we could bring our dog with us to the beach and the window views from this place are phenomenal. We have been to Netarts many times and enjoyed purchasing crab from Josie's Bayside Market, having lunch at Roseanna's in Oceanside, and hiking on the Cape Loop at Cape Lookout. There were, however, a few things that we felt could improve based on our experience at other rentals. Some of the bed pillows were absolutely sad - flat as a board and very uncomfortable. The kitchen lacked a baking sheet and did not have ANY basic spices, not even salt and pepper, which we discovered the first morning when we made our eggs. (Ad mentioned that kitchen basics were there.) Basement bedrooms have huge cracks in the walls and floor that speak to foundation issues and there were spider webs in the corner of the bunk beds - our younger kids felt scared by this and didn't want to sleep there. Netarts is a fabulous location, but this particular property is not the best rental experience we've had there.
We had a great stay at the Pearl Street house relaxing, watching the tides go in and out, spectacular sunsets from the picture windows, bird watching, walking the beach, clamming and enjoying the area including Tillamook. Still did not see it all....till the next time!
Nice location, but this house needs a lot of repairs.
We enjoyed watching ocean and beach life from the big picture window of this cosy house. The bedrooms are more than adequate with bunk beds in the two downstairs bedrooms. Upstairs bedroom was cosy for a couple. The small kitchen was easy to use, though it lacked a bit in the way of utensils and pans. Bring your own salt and pepper! Otherwise, it was so nice to cook dinner while watching the sun set! A very nice house for a beach visit.
