East End Townhome Rental Photos and Description

4-bed/2.5 bath near everything and on the Boise River/Greenbelt

A beautiful house in a very quiet secluded area on the Greenbelt, steps away from parks, BSU, downtown and the best Boise has to offer. No need for a car, as you're in the heart of the city, but you'll feel a thousand miles away as deer walk by your windows!

3-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2500 sq foot house that sleeps up to 8. Two master suites, two-car garage, 2 fireplaces, two decks, a bar, BBQ, bikes, tennis rackets, and much more.

The house is within 2 miles of downtown Boise, BSU, and St. Luke's Hospital. It is within 1 mile of Julia Davis Park, the Boise Zoo, the Boise Art Museum and the Boise Historical Museum. The house abuts the MK Nature Center, which is attached to Memorial Park (there are no neighbors to the east of the property -- just the park and nature center).

This property is the largest and nicest unit at the end of a private cul-de-sac on the Boise River. This is a family oriented setting in one of Boise's nicest neighborhoods and on the 22-mile greenbelt that runs along the Boise River.

About Alisha Coy

I grew up in Boise but live overseas now. The property is my family's dream house, but we won't be living in Boise full-time for another 4-5 years.

Alisha Coy purchased this townhome in 2003

Why Alisha Coy chose Boise

I used to ride my bike on the greenbelt and see the houses on Kimberley Lane. They were so nice and unique that I dreamed of buying one. When the best unit came on the market in 2003, I snatched it up, even though I knew it would be a long time before my family and I moved back to Idaho.

What makes this townhome unique

Quiet and tranquil setting in Boise's best location -- other houses are near parks and the greenbelt, but we're literally steps from the water and close to everything.

My kids love riding bikes, fishing and floating the river, and we can do it all just outside our back door!

Great place in a great location

  • 5 of 5

If you have a bike or want to visit downtown Boise with a crowd, this is the place to stay!!! There were seven of us for the weekend and we brought five bikes with us (there are two adult bikes and one small child's bike waiting in the garage) from Seattle. Once we arrived, we never used our car and went all over Boise on our bikes. The bike path and glorious Boise river were right outside our door and it was a short walk to a nice city park, the municipal golf course and the tire swing. Inside the house, there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably (including our two dogs) and we cooked in the ready kitchen and bbq'ed on the nice outdoor (propane) grill. Couldn't think of a better place to stay in Boise!!!

A Wonderful Home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have visited Boise four times before to see friends, and we've stayed at houses that require a 15-30 minute drive to get to downtown. I never thought that was a long drive until we stayed at this house, and I realized how nice it is to be within walking distance of everything the city has to offer.

From the pictures, we knew the area the house was in would be nice and relaxing, but we didn't realize how convenient the location really is. After our first day at the house, we realized we could just walk or bike anywhere. Our only regret is paying for a one-week rental car that we didn't use.

The house is very clean and comfortable. There are so many things to do in the immediate area, but the home is so relaxing it's hard to leave. We had friends over every day, sitting outside (there are three outdoor decks) and enjoying the serenity of the river, which we could hear from our bedroom if we opened the window. What a great sound to wake up to!

The manager is great, and knows a lot of good places to visit, but like I said we just spent most of our time at the house entertaining friends or at restaurants that we walked to.

After staying at this home, we'll never rent a different place in Boise.

A Wonderful Time Was Had By All!

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. From morning coffee on the patio listening to the river roll by and watching the wildlife, to the very convenient location for day trips , ending with falling asleep to the sound of the river at night! We entertained one of the days and our company was very comfortable and highly complimented our accomodations. The location of the condo is amazing. We took long walks on the Greenbelt, explored the Nature Center and Warm Springs Park. People watching was really fun as bike riders, joggers and families passed by. The neighbors were cordial, yet private. This unit is the most private of the complex, being on the end. The common living area is split between a livingroom downstairs and a den upstairs. This worked very well for our family. We had family members of all ages and each found true enjoyment of this rental. The rental agent was very pleasant to work with and was available. The only downside was that the kitchen was not as convenient as it could be. The oven is a little finnicky. We did not need to do much cooking so it was fine. If that were improved this location would be perfect.

Best vacation rental we've stayed at

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed at the house in mid-August. We’ve been to Boise before, but staying at the house on the Boise River really gave us a great new perspective on the city. It was the best vacation-rental experience we’ve had, and we would strongly recommend the house.

The house is nicely outfitted, with a kid’s room with bunks and two master suites. We appreciated the small touches, such as the bikes and tennis rackets that were provided. It’s true that if you stay in this house you don’t need a car, and we biked or walked everyday to the places we wanted to visit.

I had to work for a couple of days during our stay, and the house has a nice office set up in one bedroom suite. I had wi-fi, a printer and a view of the river and greenbelt while I was working.

The area is very nice for vacationers, safe and quiet. I think it really does offer the best of what Boise has to offer: you can feel you’re miles away from everything, but actually you’re just a short bike ride or drive away from lots of great restaurants and shops, bars, clubs, parks and playgrounds.

Finally, I thought the idea of “seeing deer while outside drinking your coffee” was hype, but that’s exactly what happened with us. I was outside one morning with my kids, and we saw a doe and her fawn walk right by the house, about 30 feet away. It was something out of a Disney cartoon, but something my kids and I will remember forever. We found out that there are a number of deer that live in the MK Nature Center that’s next to the house.

We loved our stay at this house and will definitely make more trips to Boise and try to stay at this place again.
