|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
This home offers the lifestyle you’re looking for when visiting Las Vegas, and comes without the surprise resort fees, cramped hotel rooms, long walks from the parking garage to your room, and lines and crowds of people everywhere you turn. It’s the best of both worlds really, offering a private oasis in the desert, just 10-15 minutes from all the action.
Unlock the door, and you will find a large entryway welcoming you to your own private retreat for the duration of your stay. Immediately to your right, there are 2 guest rooms with queen sized beds, and a full bath. Continuing in, you’ll discover an open floor plan with the living, dining, and kitchen all together, perfect for gathering around to eat, watching movies, playing games and pool, relaxing, and whatever else it is you like to do with your time. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, all new appliances, and is fully equipped. For your movie and TV watching pleasure, there is a 65” television in the living room with cable, and Red Box can be found nearby if you want to rent movies for an evening at home. The gas fireplace adds ambiance in the cooler months.
To the left of the living areas, the Master Suite awaits. It’s furnished with a new king sized bed with a very comfortable mattress, a 42” plasma TV, blackout curtains for when you might want to sleep in, and a large master bath with soaking tub, glass shower, double sinks, and vanity. You’ll also find a comfy recliner if you’re looking for an indoor reading nook, and some quiet time.
In the fully fenced backyard, the sparkling pool and spa await you. The pool is what really makes this home stand out. It’s private, has a wading end perfect for lounge chairs for sunbathing, and it’s great for the little ones, supervised, of course! There is also a gas grill, and an outdoor dining area, ideal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner poolside.
You don’t need to pack much, as there is also a new washer and dryer in the laundry room.
When you arrive, you will find plenty of off-street parking (rent a car to save yourself some money if you are flying in, as it’s cheaper than taxi’s, and parking is free at all of the casinos – we like Orbitz for the best deals) If travelling by RV, there is space alongside the home for parking, as well.
The calendar is always kept up to date. We hope to hear from you soon!
We live and work in Washington, and enjoy having a vacation home in the sunny state of Nevada. We have friends and family there, and enjoy spending time with our relatives. We find a little sunshine and break from the grind at home is good for the soul!
Clint Bjornson purchased this house in 2010
The house was newer, and had the nicest pool of all we looked at. We also liked the neighborhood, it is quiet and family friendly.
Had a great stay, the place was very clean, perfect warming and comforting. The house was also clean and very close to everything. Definitely willing to come again.
My wife and I were very impressed with the property and the neighborhood. House was just as pictured and comfortable. The owner was sick but with a few phone calls all the problems were worked out smoothly. We would stay there again, away from the crowds of the strip.
The home was very clean,the map took us right to the home. Everything worked out right. We loved the black bottom pool and jacuzzi. It was really nice. His instructions on how to operate the pool and spa were dead on right. The house was really nice.The only thing we didn't like was not having access to the garage, thank goodness it had cooled down from the normal vegas heat and it wasn't a great problem. Overall we would stay again and highly recommend to any of my friends going to vegas.
Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Would go back again in a heart beat. Had an issue first day and Clint had it taken care of immediately. Something on the con was his cleaning co. Left us dirty dishes, cigarette butts everywhere in back porch and last renters left some of their personnel belonging on furniture and n beds. Cuff links etc.
would recommend this home to everyone.
Walking through the front door I was pleased to see how spacious and clean this house was. I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed! The house has everything you need and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. This house is about 25 minutes away from the strip so if you are planning on going back and forth frequently it may not be the ideal location. Fortunately for us, we were there for basketball tournaments and some of the locations were close to the house! This house is perfect for a family vacation and I would definitely recommend it to friends! We would love to stay there again next time we are in Las Vegas!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clint's home. The house was clean and organized, and had everything we needed in order to have a fun and relaxing week in Vegas. With three children and a dog, the set up of the house was perfect. Between the pool, spa, and pool table both the kids and adults were always entertained. We arrived on the 4th of July and assumed we weren't going to see fireworks this year because we weren't about to deal with 4th of July craziness in an unfamiliar city, but there were fireworks all around us! We were able to hang out in the pool and hot tub and see fireworks from all directions. The all tile floors in the main areas of the house made the home very pet friendly! I had to contact Clint at the end of our stay and he was very kind, helpful, and responsive. The location was central to the things we chose to do. Our son had a trap shoot at the Clark County Shooting Complex (which is an excellent facility for skeet, sporting clay, and trap shooting as well as archery). We also spent one day on the strip, attending the Titanic Exhibit and The Bodies Exhibit at the Luxor. Both exhibits were fascinating! Another day we took the kids go cart racing at Pole Position Raceway. The only reason I didn't give this home five stars is because we enjoy eating out and North Las Vegas doesn't have a very good selection of restaurants other than fast food. There is a Famous Daves, which we ate at, but as with most chain restaurants it was just ok. We had to drive 20 to 30 minutes most days to Summerlin or the strip area to eat in the type of restaurants we prefer. The best meals we had were at Honey Salt (Summerlin) and Firefly (Downtown) We did eat at Viva Zapatas in North Las Vegas and it was the best Mexican food we've had in a long time! In spite of the limited nearby restaurants, we would still highly recommend staying in this home and dealing with the drive because the price and amenities can't be beat.
Located within just a few miles, you will find The Old Cannery casiono which has an amazing movie theatre, and my favorite stops when I am in Vegas - Target, Ross, Smith's grocery store, and Five Guys burgers. We always recommend visiting the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, where Pawn Stars in filmed. It's free, and it's a lot of fun to see all of the items they have on display, from motorcycles to antique slots to sports and political memorabilia. Also, the zip lines on Freemont Street are loads of fun, if you aren't afraid of heights! We like to hit at least one buffet while we're in Vegas, and have tried them all. Madalay Bay is our top pick for pricing and quality. One suggestion - check out the Groupons for Las Vegas before your trip each day, and you might find a deal on a show, spa, tourist activities, or a meal. If you are flexible, the best deal on tickets is Half Price Tickets, day of. Feel free to ask for any other recommendations - you might be able to tell that we love it there, and visit frequently!
