This home offers the lifestyle you’re looking for when visiting Las Vegas, and comes without the surprise resort fees, cramped hotel rooms, long walks from the parking garage to your room, and lines and crowds of people everywhere you turn. It’s the best of both worlds really, offering a private oasis in the desert, just 10-15 minutes from all the action.
Unlock the door, and you will find a large entryway welcoming you to your own private retreat for the duration of your stay. Immediately to your right, there are 2 guest rooms with queen sized beds, and a full bath. Continuing in, you’ll discover an open floor plan with the living, dining, and kitchen all together, perfect for gathering around to eat, watching movies, playing games and pool, relaxing, and whatever else it is you like to do with your time. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, all new appliances, and is fully equipped. For your movie and TV watching pleasure, there is a 65” television in the living room with cable, and Red Box can be found nearby if you want to rent movies for an evening at home. The gas fireplace adds ambiance in the cooler months.
To the left of the living areas, the Master Suite awaits. It’s furnished with a new king sized bed with a very comfortable mattress, a 42” plasma TV, blackout curtains for when you might want to sleep in, and a large master bath with soaking tub, glass shower, double sinks, and vanity. You’ll also find a comfy recliner if you’re looking for an indoor reading nook, and some quiet time.
In the fully fenced backyard, the sparkling pool and spa await you. The pool is what really makes this home stand out. It’s private, has a wading end perfect for lounge chairs for sunbathing, and it’s great for the little ones, supervised, of course! There is also a gas grill, and an outdoor dining area, ideal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner poolside.
You don’t need to pack much, as there is also a new washer and dryer in the laundry room.
When you arrive, you will find plenty of off-street parking (rent a car to save yourself some money if you are flying in, as it’s cheaper than taxi’s, and parking is free at all of the casinos – we like Orbitz for the best deals) If travelling by RV, there is space alongside the home for parking, as well.

About Susan McCoy
We live and work in Washington, and enjoy having a vacation home in the sunny state of Nevada. We have friends and family there, and enjoy spending time with our relatives. We find a little sunshine and break from the grind at home is good for the soul!
Susan McCoy purchased this House in 2010
Why Susan McCoy chose North Las Vegas
The house was newer, and had the nicest pool of all we looked at. We also liked the neighborhood, it is quiet and family friendly.

Cute, Cozy and Comfortable
The house looked exactly as pictured on the website. The property was nice, clean and comfortable. The drought resistance landscaping along w/ the pool added to appeal. However, the bed in the smaller room had no box spring so it was low to the ground which is very low for two adult females. It's probably perfect for children. Also their was a need for more small face towels, however we located plenty of full size towels. My over all suggestion would be to have someone meet the renters to give them a overview of the house, pool area and any other areas. Other than that the house was really comfortable, roomy and is located in a great area that was quiet, clean and spacious. I would recommend this house to anyone renting a house in Vegas.
House was beautiful! Absolutely loved the master bed & bath! Great place to spend my anniversary .
Will book again for my next trip to Vegas
What a great mini vacation.
Clean, comfortable home. Great layout and location. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Spent a month (mid-Sep to mid-Oct) in North Las Vegas visiting our son and helping with a home remodel we did with him. Although hot tub could be heated, the swimming pool needs the same option. Most of the time it was simply too cold to swim. Would be worth an additional $20 per day.
Nice home quiet area
The house itself was very cozy. The pool was nice. The jacuzzi gets way to hot. When we called the owner about it he said it was set to standard temp. Umm no mine doesn't get boiling hot when left on for 30 min. But that was a minor dissatisfaction. The trash was completely full when we arrived and I felt bad for the family that was going to arrive later that day. My 3 stars is based on the owner calling me 10 min after check out with attitude. I get it check out is 11... but for the price of our stay and how well we cleaned the house after ourself the cleaning crew didnt need to do much. We pulled out of the drive way around 1125. The cleaning crew (2 guys from what I saw) was right there looking at us all crazy. Lol. So next time I know to leave your home the way it is. Sorry for trying to make it extra clean. Probably wouldn't stay here again or recommend to anyone I know. Your attitude and rudeness was uncalled for.
The property is immaculately maintained
The property is located in North Las Vegas if you have a rental car it's no problem. Summerlin and Henderson are approximately the same distance. Uber and lyft may be a little too expensive but rental cars are cheap in Las Vegas. It has 3 comfortable bedrooms a washer dryer modern appliances which are maintained. The outside was spotless which is crazy most of the time I spend on the first day at other locations is picking up someone else's trash. It was refreshing to not have to worry, I only wish they had a keypad entry rather than a key. It's so much safer and easier. That was not a big deal I bought a keychain and attached them to my rental car keys.
Located within just a few miles, you will find The Old Cannery casiono which has an amazing movie theatre, and my favorite stops when I am in Vegas - Target, Ross, Smith's grocery store, and Five Guys burgers. We always recommend visiting the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, where Pawn Stars in filmed. It's free, and it's a lot of fun to see all of the items they have on display, from motorcycles to antique slots to sports and political memorabilia. Also, the zip lines on Freemont Street are loads of fun, if you aren't afraid of heights! We like to hit at least one buffet while we're in Vegas, and have tried them all. Madalay Bay is our top pick for pricing and quality. One suggestion - check out the Groupons for Las Vegas before your trip each day, and you might find a deal on a show, spa, tourist activities, or a meal. If you are flexible, the best deal on tickets is Half Price Tickets, day of. Feel free to ask for any other recommendations - you might be able to tell that we love it there, and visit frequently!
