Capt. Mike, owner of Salty Living Rentals & Property Services (SLRPS) Purchased this 2 story / 4-plex located right in the center of beautiful Bradenton Beach because of its great location and proximity to the Beach, City Park, and the Bay. The property has on site parking spaces, one assigned parking space for your apartment. Addition day time public parking is on the east side of the building a short 1/2 block away for a beach wedding or day visitors.

When you stay here you can park your car and forget it (recommended).

Everything you need is right here within walking distance or a short FREE Island Trolley ride away, including Historical Bridge Street, Bradenton Beach city pier and the BEST the island has to offer.

The Sand Dollar white sandy beach has natural wading pools just past the surf. Sometimes there is almost no surf at all, which is popular with relaxation seeking rafters. Wave runners, sail boats, kayaks, beach or charter scuba (ask diver / Capt. Mike or the local dive shop), and other watercraft rentals are just a short walk down the beach. Just let Capt. Mike know prior to your arrival what type of water sport or leisure activity you wish for before or during your stay and he'll be happy to guide you in the right direction…

Wedding parties can walk from this location for all beach wedding arrangements.

We love Salty Living Rental!

This vacation destination just keeps getting better. The owner Mike, believes in continuous improvement and awesome customer service...this year we returned to new windows and doors as well as a fresh beautiful paint job.

Mike has a knack of attracting great friendly type return tenants, all of whom we very much enjoy. Mike takes care of his property meticulously and tenants love to keep it that way. The units are clean and updated. The units are well-equipped within reason to enable a lovely island experience..

We keep finding extremely fun things to do on the island. Trolley bus is complimentary and takes you to anywhere popular on the island. You also have the choice of the monkey bus so always have tip money in your pocket. We rarely take our car anywhere.

We enjoy going to the Island players which is a small Performing Arts Center. The Publix grocery store, CVS and Walgreens are very convenient to the island. Holmes Beach has music almost every night of the week at sunset and there is an endless amount of entertainment right in Bradenton Beach, walking distance to Salty living on the historic Bridge Street. Plenty of delicious restaurants there as well. We particularly enjoy our Packer bar which is the bridge tender.

Our new guilty pleasures when it comes to eating is joining the Moose Lodge for their daily specials and it is located immediately on the beach. They have great drink and food prices besides it all being delicious . We pull our beach cart, chairs and umbrella which are all conveniently supplied for us and relax on the beach near the Moose Lodge. On those cooler or windy days, the Moose Lodge has a closer beautiful view of Sunset. Coquina Beach is perfect for walking the beach. You can either walk directly on the beach or again on those cooler windy days, there is a lovely paved path along the entire Beach! The beach Market is held every Sunday and Wednesday where we can go get fresh vegetables and all other kind of goodies in walking distance. We also love fish tacos at the Coquina Beach Cafe and shrimp tacos at the Wicked Cantina!

Back at Salty Living, Mike provides a privacy outside area with chairs to read and relax, an updated gas grill for cookouts and tables to eat at in a lovely planted setting.

Also convenient is the washer and dryer supplied by the owner right on the property.

Wonderful vacation experience

Captain Mike is one of those somewhat unusual vacation rental landlords who not only takes pride in his property, but also cares about the experience of his tenants. The location is directly across from Gulf Beach Access, you are looking at the sunsets from your front porch chairs every night and there are so many services, excellent restaurants and other amenities available within a 5 minute walk that you really do not need to rent a car (Plus the free Trolley runs continuously.) The accommodations were extremely clean and well maintained and we had a ball. Highly recommended.

Ready to go back! Great trip!

We didn’t realize upon booking that the rental was located across the street. We’re used to staying directly on the beach during our trips. The rental was stocked with extra beach gear and a wagon which came in handy and the owner gave us great dinner suggestions that we took him up on. The laundry also came in handy which is located around the back of the rental. We made great memories during our stay. Can’t wait to visit again. Bradenton is a beautiful place to visit. Thank you for sharing your rental with us!

This property was great! Everything we needed was available for the beach and grilling!

I would definitely return to this property. It was on Gulf Drive but was very quiet when you were inside. The property was right across the street from the beach and had beautiful sunset views! The backyard area was wonderful for relaxing in the sun on the loungers or at the table and chair sets while you were grilling. Since we flew to Florida and could not bring beach items, it was so convenient to have beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, beach cart and beach towels all available at the unit. Captain Mike, the owner, stopped in to make sure everything was OK and there was nothing we needed. It was great having on-site parking, although we really could have walked to everything we needed.

Great little place close to everything
