Nana’s River House Rentals

Bedrooms 2
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Our house is about ½ mile from the head waters. You can enjoy a leisurely float down the Rainbow River from our house to the KP Hole county park and walk back. The KP Hole has a boat ramp for launching your boat as well as kayak and tube rentals. The house sits on the river on one acre which gives you plenty of room for a game of volley ball, touch foot ball, or just laying in the sun catching some rays. Have a picnic under the covered patio or cook some burgers on the grill. Our house is a two story house. The rental is for the down stairs. The down stairs has its own lock and so does the up stairs. The Florida room has windows facing the river and french doors to a patio. From the french doors to the beach is only about 50 feet. You and your friends will enjoy a private beach reserved exclusively for guests of Nana's River House. Our house has 2 bedrooms (queen in master and full/double in other) and 2 bathrooms with a living room, family room with futon, Florida room with futon, separate dinning room, and a eat-in kitchen. There is a carport that can double as patio.

Peaceful and nature-filled stay

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place to stay. Clean with lots of room. Great place on the river where you can relax and watch the clean waters of the Rainbow river flow by. Lots of nature all around. Birds of every kind, turtles and even the odd alligator. Would absolutely stay again! Also close to many other interesting things to do. Dave was great to talk to and very responsive to all questions.

A Terrific Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

Nana's is a terrific place to stay. I enjoyed myself immensely. It's convenient not only to the Rainbow River of course, but to much that's available around the Nature Coast (and not too far from the beaches of the SunCoast).

I hope to stay there again.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Nana's River house is in a serene setting right on a perfect stretch of the river. Our weekend was delightful! Rented kayaks at the state park, swam in front of the house, watched the birds and squirrels and the full moon in the trees....

The house was comfortable with all we needed. The owners made it very easy for us. Thank you for a perfect getaway!

Perfect place

  • 5 of 5

This was my second time staying at this property and had a wonderful mini-vacation. Tile was installed in the living room and kitchen and looks so good! You cannot ask for a better location on the river - great for swimming and good location for a 1 1/2 hour float down the river to the K.P. Hole (easy walk back). We are already planning next year's vacation!

Great for my 12 year old's birthday celebration

  • 5 of 5

We are St. Pete, FL residents, and Rainbow River is my 12 year old daughter's favorite destination. She and her friends love the pristine clear water, in which they swim, snorkel, kayak, and use dip nets and fishing rods to catch fish.

We splurged this year and took a group of her friends for an overnight stay at Nana's River House. The girls loved the house, and despite the cooler air temperature, they swam quite a bit. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We cooked out, had a campfire with s'mores, and rented kayaks at the KP Hole to supplement the ones we brought. The kitchen had all the necessities as well. The backyard going down to the river is also pretty and peaceful. The mist rising off the river in the morning is beautiful. This is "old Florida nature" at its best.

Juanita also provided very helpful information and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend Nana's River House!
