This was our vacation home on the Outer Banks before we permanently located to Kitty Hawk. It is close to all amenities and attractions that the Outer Banks has to offer but peaceful and tranquil so you can enjoy your vacation.

The unique location gives you safety and peace of mind. Quiet residential area with a scenic walking area all up and down the between soundfront. A Gazebo is jointly owned by the community for your pleasure. There is a community boat ramp to launch in the neighborhood.

Perfect for our family!!!!!

Lots of new renovations done which made the place pleasing to the eye as well as convenient for everyone to use. Great space for the dogs on the gated covered porch and out back to do their business. Nice flat screens in every room. Family of 6 ranging in age from 4 to 63 and everyone was more than happy! Highly recommend this place.

Great home!

This home was exactly as described! Plenty of room for a family of 5. Beds were comfy too. Great location, close to the action, but yet far enough away to have peace and quiet. Definitely would recommend!

great time

The neighborhood is even quieter and more peaceful than we had expected.

Very clean and comfortable home located in a near bay-side neighborhood. Great for walks, running and bicycling. Great location so far as restaurants and attractions. Dogs loved the vacation and the front porch is very relaxing.

We really enjoyed this house and would certainly stay again.

Clean, modern appliances, roomy.

It's a nice house, lacks for nothing inside, every kind of pots, pans, waffle iron, griddle,gas grill, etc. Beds are comfortable, towels were new and seemed very clean , not just wore-out junk.Parking was great, able to keep my vehicle out of the sun. It would be a 5 if it had any view at all. 1 block from the sound/ walking paths. Overall great house.

Great place and location

We just returned from our week at Kill Devil Hills. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals all along the Outer Banks. This rental was every bit as advertised. The rental was clean, the linens were all provided and were not worn out or mismatched leftovers. The bed was the most comfortable of any rental we have stayed in, nice and firm! Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans, plenty of utensils and dishes. All appliances were fully functional. We appreciated the hose on the ground floor, allowed us to rinse off our dogs after a day at the beach. The fenced in back yard area also allowed us to leave them outside when we left for other activities. This was our first time staying on the sound side, we thoroughly enjoyed walking the Bay Rd at night and watching the sunset at the many different accesses along the road. The walking path allowed for safe walking even after sundown.

The rental is in Kill Devil Hills but off the main road enough that you don't hear any of the traffic or noise during the day or at night. Access to the beach and parking was easily figured out and was at most a 10 minute drive. It is easy to access any activity or site north or south on the island. There are many interesting and fun activities very close. In the event of less than beach day weather, there is a movie theater fairly close and Tanger Outlet further south.

This is a rental we would go back to without any reservation.

NIce home, has everything you could need. Well provisioned. Clean.

We enjoyed our stay, the home was WELL furnished with everything you might need. Especially the kitchen, it has everything. The HVAC was new, and almost everything has been updated since construction. It needs a dining room table of some sort to be a five star property IMO. The island and supplied stools do not work for meals, all meals were eaten in the living room. Make sure you understand the cleaning requirements. Most VRBO properties have cleaning included, it is NOT included here (as clearly stated in the ad), although any cleaning item or supply you could EVER wish for is provided. I wish cleaning was included or optional for an additional charge, as we lost a half day of vacation time to cleaning at the end of our stay. This is a great property, do not hesitate to book.

* Owner requires a cleaning agreement to be filled out and on file prior to check-in. House is to be left clean and owner will come sanitize after your stay. Additional fees will only be charged for excessive cleaning requirement or if house not left as received.

**Weekend and Partial week rentals are available during the off season starting at $350 (Sept 30,2017 - March 30, 2018; Sept 29 - Apr 19, 2019). Partial weeks over the Holidays are an option also. If you have any special requests or would like to rent a partial week please email me for a quote. I would also be happy to set up a payment plan for you!

Check-out is at 10:00 and Check-in is at 4:00. Linen and Pet fees are included. The house is to be left clean as I only sanitize after your stay. Beds should be stripped of linens and all linens and towels need to be put in the basket in the laundry room. Please leave comforters on the beds. Fill out the form attached to your reservation and send back with your payment.
