Recently renovated apartment in the centre of Matera. Ideal location, a short distance from the Sassi and main square Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
The apartment is situated on the third floor (with elevator,) with a pleasant view over the Duomo.
The entrance to the apartment is completely independent for your privacy. The apartment is equipped with all comforts such as a kitchen with utensils, fridge, bathroom with shower and WI-FI. There is 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and additional single bed.
Upon arrival the apartment will be cleaned and provided with clean linen and towels; the daily cleaning of the house and change of linen is at guest care.
For guests coming by car, free parking spaces are available on the roads around the building, although at pick times it may be difficult to find available spaces. Please mind that blue line park spaces surrounding the ''Villa Comunale'' are not free of charge.
There is a nearby private car park charging Euro 0,50 per hour.
We are in the very centre of the town at a short distance from the Sassi and main square Piazza Vittorio Veneto and a short walk from the shopping area and cultural and entertainment centre of the city.
Restaurants and bars across the street and central market are also very close by.The central train station is located at 5 minutes walk.
Main touristic attractions are at a walking distance so you will not need a car during your stay unless you plan to visit the surrounding areas out of town.
The Municipality of Matera has recently established the tourist tax: it is due from all tourists arriving in Matera for the maximum the first two nights of their stay. The tax must be collected upon arrival in the apartment and is 1,00 euro per person per night.
