The barn, a former farm building, has been rebuilt and recently converted into an attractive, comfortable holiday cottage and offers a well-equipped kitchen dining room with oak beams and a stone wall, a comfortable sitting room, bedroom (with large double bed) and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two attic bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a further shower room. The property forms one side of a range of agricultural buildings in what was the old farmyard. This yard is now an attractive courtyard garden, with lawn area and table and chairs for al fresco dining. The courtyard is adjacent to the owners’ listed home. Many miles of open country and woodland of The Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surround the property. The area is ideal for walking riding and biking and although quiet and rural enjoys easy access to Westcott village, and the historic market town of Dorking. With easy access by train to London, and good road access to the South of England and coast, the property is ideal as a base visiting this part of England.

Beautiful, peaceful and charming
We had a fantastic stay here and the barn was equipped with everhthing we needed. Fantastic to have the outside space to sit out too. Would 100% recommend.

A grest place to enjoy the Surrey Hills
We only had a few days to spend in this area of Surrey but we thoroughly enjoyed them. The cottage was attractive and comfortably presented. There was contained open space at the front of the house ideal for two active under 5s,dark sky at night for star(and plane ) spotting and a bosky path straight from the cottage to the village and the pub with a small beer garden.
By car there was easy access to many attractions including Wisley and Legoland.
We would like to come back for a longer stay.
Bright but chilly February weekend!
Great weekend enjoyed by us all. Cottage was lovely - had everything we needed and was instantly relaxing. Gorgeous location, perfect for walks and visiting the sights. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely be back! (The weekend weather was chilly NOT the cottage that was lovely and warm!!)

Welcoming hosts, kindly allowed our puppy, location fabulous, quiet and peaceful, just what we needed as there for a funeral. Definitely would stay again. Highly recommended
Lovely cosy cottage
We stayed for 2 nights while attending a family wedding. the cottage was really warm and cosy,
which was really great as the weather was not good. Nicky greeted us on arrival, she showed us around and left a very nice cake, which went down very well with a cup of tea.We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to visit this part of Surry.
Situated in the Surrey Hills - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a quiet rural lane about a mile from the village of Westcott, and only 3 miles from Dorking, the barn is ideally located for walking, cycling, riding and mountain biking. With direct access to the Surrey Hills’ extensive network of footpaths and bridleways just go from the door and leave the car behind. Westcott has a baker’s, post office/village store, newsagents two pubs and an Indian restaurant. There is also a specialist bike shop with mountain bikes for hire. Dorking is a historic market town with a wide range of shops and restaurants, and has a railway station with a frequent service to London. There are several National Trust properties in the area, including Leith Hill Tower, the highest point in Southern England.
