Home-Sweet Home in Moab

  • 5 of 5

This was our 1st visit to Moab,Utah but we will return because everything was perfect and the condo was 100 times better than staying at any hotel. While preparing for the trip, Lisa & Rob were extremely prompt answering every question. We also shipped gear out and it was waiting for us in the clean, beautiful condo. While there, we cooked breakfast and then went on a daily adventure (Dirt Seekers, Desert Highlights, Extreme4x4, Milts' Burgers). I thought I knew what to expect most days, but we also explored Spanish Trail 4x4 Road, directly at the end of the main road. It was a beautiful secluded trail where we hiked and explored.

my wife and I had a great time in the apartment. It was just as described, clean and comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting Rob and Lisa during our stay as they made sure everything was alright. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to Moab.

Lovely townhouse

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for nine nights and enjoyed the comfort and quiet ambiance very much.

The location on the golf course is lovely and viewing the red rocks surround while sitting on the patio was wonderful. The townhouse was very clean, well stocked and it was very obvious that the owners have paid attention to every detail in order to make the place as charming and comfortable as possible.

Of course, Arches and Canyonlands are spectacular and returning to this townhouse after hours of hiking is the perfect ending to a great day!

Castillo townhouse on Moab golf course

  • 5 of 5

This unit is well designed and furnished and excellently equipped with every item one might need for a vacation stay. This included many condiments, cleaning items, washer/dryer, liquid soap in the bathrooms. The location bordering on the golf course and the views of the surrounding red rock formations is excellent, it is quiet but only 4 miles south of town.

We also appreciated the detailed tourist and local restaurant guide we received after making our reservation. Having easy phone access to Rob and Lisa for any unforeseen needs added to our comfort.

We will certainly rent this unit again for a future Moab vacation and recommend it without reservation to friends and family. Moab offers so many breathtaking natural wonders with Arches and Canyonlands National parks as well as beautiful biking and hiking destinations that one could easily spend a week in this charming little town. For dinner we liked the hometown and friendly atmosphere at the Moab Brewery and the very tasty cuisine at the Pasta Jay's restaurant.

Notes:
We are 4 miles south of town on the EAST side of the valley.  It's in a quiet residential neighborhood next to the golf course, an 18 unit project called Castillo that was very well laid out with lawn, trees, one of the nicer pools with fewer people to share it, and close to the nature you come here to see.  Walk right out the door and up the road past a rock art panel and into the nearby fins which puts you on the rim and access to Mill Creek Canyon.  (PS... Very different from everything near the noisy, commercial, highway corridor on the WEST side of the valley.)
