Palm Desert is a jewel in the heart of the Coachella Valley snuggled between Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells. Michele and I are fortunate to own a designer furnished two bedroom, two bath condominium (1300 plus square feet) on a fairway within the lush private enclave of Monterey Country Club. This gated and secure oasis is located only a few minutes by car from the fashionable 'El Paseo' with its several superb restaurants and a 10 minute drive from 'The River,' Rancho Mirage’s new and exciting shopping environment that the whole Valley is talking about. Restaurants, movies, live entertainment, there is much to do in Palm Desert. The Valley offers a unique Vacation Experience.

A Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) wireless modem/router will keep you connected to let the world in, but do you really want to? If you choose to there are no complications - your laptop will pick up the signal immediately. We have also added an LG 37' LCD HDTV (with a Sony DVD) to the living room as well as a JVC High-grade DVD-Audio compact system with Wood Cone Speakers. Full HBO + Showtime and Roku also installed for streaming other channels. If you enjoy music, pack your cds, dvds and SACDs. Incidentally, it also can accommodate an MP3 hookup as well so it is iTunes friendly.

The entry path through our private gated courtyard welcomes you with its tiled desert colors bordered by Malibu lighting. Our patio borders on the fairway and offers the perfect setting for breakfast, reading or perhaps an early evening bar-b-que. Also, enjoy the clear view of Mount San Jacinto down the fairway. Our very bright and cheerful living room with soaring cathedral ceilings, a glass enclosed fireplace and a wet bar opens into our dining area where the large glass dining table easily seats six. The master bedroom is located in the back of the unit and is shielded from the morning sun. It is quiet, and great for sleeping. The centerpiece: a king-size pillow top mattress that affords the most comfortable sleeping environment that Michele and I have ever experienced. We loved the mattress so much that we spent $3,000 duplicating the experience for our San Diego home. Plus, a flat screen LCD. The second bedroom is comfortable and contains twin beds for the kids or guests. Incidentally, all beds have goose-downs pillows for greater sleeping comfort guaranteeing a vacation free from the neck pains of cheaper pillows, as well as goose-down duvet covers for each. Bathing in our spacious master bath is an experience enhanced by the deep green tiled frameless shower and the recessed lighting - the water actually seems to feel cleaner. Silent, vaulted ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms assure a comfortable environment (we rarely use the air conditioning but you may wish to) and our condominium comes equipped with a Maytag washer and dryer. The full kitchen is complemented with more utensils and glassware than you’ll ever need plus a coffee maker, blender, etc. We have a GE fridge, range and above the range micro. You may actually enjoy washing dishes in our Bosch dishwasher – it actually whispers. Both the master bedroom and the dining area look out onto the atrium where evening lights turn on automatically.

That’s it, just pack your toothbrush and please leave cigars and cigarettes at home. Sorry, no pets.

We are actively involved with the condominium's management and rarely have problems with the appliances. But when issues do arise, we have relationships with professionals in the area and guarantee a quick fix.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Palm Desert for many years now, but once we found this condo eight years ago, it has been our pleasure to return there every year since.



This resort is the best we have experienced in the area. The condo is secure, elegantly appointed, spacious, beautifully decorated, yet homey, and the surroundings are quiet but within minutes of everything. It is fully equipped - we cannot think of anything that could be added. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, barbeque, entertainment center, wireless Internet access, even a place to play our CD's.



The large patio faces north, keeping it cool and in the shade for most of the day. This patio faces the fairway and provides a pleasant ambiance for relaxing, BBQ grilling and entertaining.



Vic and Michelle are fine people, honest, intelligent and genuinely interested in their clients' needs while staying in their condo. They work hard as a team to make sure that everything is updated, clean and well looked after. Both of them keep the condo in an immaculate state. It has been our pleasure to enjoy spending our time there over the years during our holidays; it is our home in the sunshine, away from home.



We have already booked the condo for later this year (and hopefully for many more years to come) and are very much looking forward to our future stays.

Clean and Comfortable!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Vic and Michelle's condo. The condo was spotless and very comfortable for our family of 4. Vic was very helpful with providing all details of our stay, even meeting our son at the condo before we arrived and taking him to the nearby Albertson's to get some supplies. That is truly above and beyond! The location right across from the pool and hot tub is perfect.

Great getaway spot!

As promised it was a very clean,safe condo in a central location. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The condo had everything needed including a fully equiped kitchen and outdoor patio with BBQ. Vic & Michelle could not have been more helpful including meeting us upon arrival. I would have no hesitation to recommend this property to family and friends.

Great location very clean

We really enjoyed our time here. The home was very clean and the patio facing the golf course was out of the direct sun allowing you to use it all day long without getting overheated from the sun. The master bedroom had lots of space and very comfortable bed. Nice place. Vic and Michelle are great hosts

Great location and all the comforts of home. Vic and Michelle were there to meet us upon arrival and walked us through their property to make sure we had no problems in operating TV, BBQ, etc. Would recommend this property to others, especially for its central location to all the fine golf courses in the area.

We were very busy and rarely in the unit but we did enjoy many things about this unit.

The large windows and light, the patio overlooking the mountains , the hummingbirds that I saw every day. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have the option of open windows and the fan going. Of course very warm weather also made it wonderful. Vic and Micheles information was helpful and we were able to find the garbage etc.

Everything was as we expected and as they were overdressing the golf course outside we had the advantage of not having golfers every day. It was very quiet and it was wonderful after a hot day to return to the unit where it was cooler and the patio was sheltered.

Desert Gem

We stayed the month of March at the Vic and Michelle’s condo. The unit itself is magnificently maintained, clean, neat .The furnishings and fixtures within the unit of first-class. The TV, Internet and electronics were great. The unit is located central to the Valley, inside the gates of the beautifully maintained Monterey Country Club, and close to shopping , theaters , restaurants, and excellent public golf courses. The views from the patio are spectacular looking down the sixth fairway of the Monterey East course, with a beautiful view of the mountains in the background. The location of the unit is peaceful and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.
