About Jaclyn Cox
I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and a mother to 2 beautiful children that keep me on my toes every moment of the day! We work hard so we can play hard! We are an easy-going family and enjoy the simple things in life, like going to the lake, or playing outside in the yard. We love wine, cooking, football (Go VOLS!!!) and entertaining with/for our family and friends. We found our "forever" home in beautiful, historic Fountain City (Knoxville) and we are living happily ever after! Our "forever home" came with a guest house and we are excited to share it with our old and new family and friends!

Great location. Friendly host. Clean and well appointed.
Fantastic Property and Host
This property is all that it says it is and more. The owner, Jackie, is so thoughtful even had water out for our dog when we arrived. She has thought of all the little touches that make a house a home. You have your privacy but she checks in periodically to make sure that you have all that you need. We have rented vacation homes for over 10 years and this tops all of the other vacation rentals.
Cozy little cottage
We had a great time. The cottage offered everything we needed. The owners were very nice. My 4yo had a great time playing with the owner's kids. The only challenge we had was using the very small bathroom. I would recommend this place based on it's location to Knoxville attractions and the kindness of the owners.
What a beautiful property!
Home is quiet and clean, kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfortable and host is wonderful--lots of unexpected extras inside the cottage. The fenced yard was a plus for our little travel companion. Overall a wonderful experience.
Great little cottage
We 3 women enjoyed our stay and the cottage was perfect for us to finish planning a shower we were hosting locally. Jackie is very easy to work with and nice to find that all was exactly as advertised.
Cute house, great for small families with dogs.
My wife, two young kids, two 30 pound dogs, and I stayed at the Walnut Grove Guest House this past weekend. It was a great weekend. The view was amazing. The host family was very accommodating and friendly, even though we did not get a chance to interact with them much as we did not stay for very long. They told us that they were willing to have as much or as little interaction as you wanted. I was able to message, call, or text them at any time during / after booking or during our stay with any questions and always got a immediate response.
The house is behind the family's house but we never felt in their way. They allowed us to walk our dogs around the grounds and having a larger property allowed us to keep our fur babies happy away from home. It is such a beautiful property and even though you are close to everything, we really felt like we had a private little oasis to come to. We talked briefly to both Jaclyn and her husband and they were very nice. We did not use the tennis court, basketball goal but never felt like we could not. we just did not stay long enough to need them. The house is small but was not too small. It was just the right size for our family. If you had two older kids then it would be tight, but with one child in a pack-n-play there was no problems for us. We brought our own pack-n-play but one was available for us if we had needed it. All in all, it was a great experience. If we travel to Knoxville again then Walnut Grove Guest House is definitely on our radar of places to stay.
Do not hesitate on this one, it is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
