David and Debbi Underwood are originally from Texas. Debbi moved to Nashville in 1993 and David came here in 2006. Recently married, we decided to keep Debbi's home ( purchased in 1998) as a vacation rental. The home has such a nice inviting feeling from the minute you walk in, we just had to keep it for friends and family who come to visit our beautiful city. We completely refurbished the home. Everything is freshly painted and because Debbi is an interior designer you'll enjoy the colors and artwork that decorate the space. We decided to open the house to the vacation rental market last year.
Debbi and David Underwood purchased this house in 1998
Debbi moved to Nashville in 1993. After renting for 5 years, she decided to buy a home in 1998 and found this property which seemed to offer everything she needed and more. For over ten years Debbi used the upstairs area for her interior design business office and studio. The home is set up with two separate living areas so it's perfect for two or three couples or a family with teenagers that want to have their own area. Or even a group of girls or guys on a long weekend in Nashville Music City. The downstairs living area is large enough for a big group so the home is great for entertaining. This part of Nashville, which is west and south of the downtown area, is very safe.
One of the reasons we loved this house is the fact that it has 2 fireplaces and living areas. The kitchen is adorable with a window over the sink to look out on the side yard and watch the birds and squirrels while doing dishes and cooking. The charming front porch is covered and a bistro table and two chairs are perfect for sipping a glass of wine in the evening or having coffee and toast in the morning while the sun comes up. Flower boxes line the front porch and the style of the home is very 'craftsman' from the outside but surprisingly contemporary from the inside. The rooms are all very spacious with high ceilings and lots of light. The back yard and back deck and the koi pond with shade trees are such a pleasure. The home is very close (2 mi.) to awesomely beautiful nature areas that were donated to the city over a hundred years ago and long walks in the park are so relaxing. Nashville has four distinct seasons so there's no bad time of year to come here. This home is a little piece of heaven on earth.
This is a great house in a very convenient location. The neighborhood feels very safe. The house was clean and well maintained, and had everything we could have possibly wanted. The only minor issue during our stay was toilet chain needed fixing and the owner came over the next morning bright and early and fixed it. They are very nice and made us feel welcome. One suggestion I would make is the couch has about reached the end of its life and could stand to be replaced. It's soft and looks good but no support at all. A hidden gem the owner told us about, and that they might want to advertise is there is an awesome bike path only a mile away next to the golf course. It is flat and maybe 7 miles long (a guess) and runs along a river! Thanks for everything. Your home made our vacation so enjoyable. I would recommend this property to others.
Very Nice. We had 11 family members in from out of town for a wedding. The house was very comfortable for the 11 of us. Easy access to getting around Nashville. David and Deb were very nice and helpful in making out stay enjoyable. Thanks so much, Gordon
Several of my cousins and I wanted to get together and do a family trip! There was too many of us to get a hotel, so we decided to look into renting a house! We were hesitant, because you always hear about scams.. But we could not be more happy that we chose this property! David met us when we first got there and showed us around, and even made sure the propane tanks were full for us. We were able to grill out and just hang out before hitting the Broadway strip which is about 20 minutes away! There is a community pool down the road to hang out at as well! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, and they even had extra mattresses to use for extra people! The best thing was that we left a bottle of alcohol there that we didn't know my uncle who came with us wanted to keep as a souvenir because it said Nashville on it. He left before us Sunday morning and none of us knew he really wanted that bottle. All I had to do was text David and he immediately said he would mail it no problem! This house was in a subdivision and very nice and quiet but also close enough to the bars to have a good time! It was the perfect mix. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Nashville!
Clean and spacious house with plenty of room for the 6 people we had on the trip. Will book again next time in Nashville.
Debbi & Dave were there when we arrived and Debbi was an absolute delight as she gave us a tour of the place! The refrigerator had gone out prior to our arrival and they went and purchased a small dorm sized refrigerator for us to put our perishables in until the new refrigerator arrived. The downstairs bedroom had a waterbed in it...I've not slept in one of those in over a decade! But it was incredibly comfortable and so nicely made. There was no shortage of linens and everyone was so pleased with the accommodations. Our Juice Plus event was downtown but it was only a 20 minute drive and well worth it. the neighborhood was so quiet. If we're ever in the area again and needing these types of accommodations, I will be contacting Debbi & Dave!
Family in Nashville for basketball tournament the house was perfect and the pool and tennis court were so close. Debbie and David were available and very nice

Belle Pointe is very special to me us I used to live here for 12 years prior to meeting my husband David. We decided to keep Belle Pointe as a vacation rental when I moved in with him and we live only a few minutes away in case you need anything during your stay.
