Cable TV's in each bedroom and the downstairs living area.. An open floor plan downstairs has dining room open to living area and back deck. Upstairs the 2 bedrooms share the large garden bath/shower and have separate private sinks and grooming areas that open off of the central living area with fireplace. The main floor bathroom is also a tub/shower set up. We do have a shower and toilet seat for handicapped persons along with grab bars in the tub and toilet areas. A full laundry room is conveniently located off the sunny kitchen with new appliances. Large Mexican tiles adorn the kitchen floor while hardwood floors appoint the rest of the home. The bedrooms have new cushy carpeting. Colors are warm and inviting with designer touches everywhere. A hand painted mural of Tuscany compliments the fireplace wall while a richly colored woven tapestry hangs over the dining table from a hand-forged iron rod next to an antique Irish china cabinet from 1860. The kitchen is completely stocked with cookware and dishes. Towels and linens are all provided. You'll love the backyard with lovely waterfall koi pond (you can feed the koi daily) from a gliding love seat while watching them feed. Colorful flowers brighten up the small backyard with a few tomato plants and fresh herbs for you to harvest fresh homegrown pleasure in the summer. The deck has a gas grill with a large outdoor dining table and chairs to enjoy the canopy of shade trees. There's a sunny corner of the little oasis we call the 'sun-porch' where you can catch great rays in the afternoons for private sunbathing. A community pool is a short walk or ride down the street as well as a well-kept fenced tennis court. (we provide 4 racquets and a sleeve of balls) Bathrooms are provided there as well as lounge chairs and picnic tables. Just bring your cooler and enjoy a nice day at the pool which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend and closes each night at dusk. There's plenty of close by restaurants including the world famous "Loveless Cafe" and fine Italian dining at "Antonio's". Kroger and Publix shopping centers are within a mile, pizza places, TJ Maxx for clothing and shoes and even an 8 movie theater complex at the Bellevue Cinema. Also the "Red Caboose" park, Percy Warner and Edwin Warner Parks provide awesome walking and biking trails as well as Harpeth Hills Golf Course with 18 gorgeous holes of picturesque golf all within a five minute drive of this home. There's also the Harpeth Valley Greenway and Par 3 Golf Course and driving range for casual practice and 10 mile paved walk and bikeway along the Harpeth River. A Laser Tag venue and Pizza/game arcade round out the near by offerings for fun. There's a "Massage Envy" and "Escape Day Spa" within a few minutes drive for relaxing massage and pampering. Most of the guests with large groups call an "Uber" driver, a Limo Service or minivan Cab service to get downtown which is only a 15 to 20 minute drive. Pick up a copy or go online at the "Nashville Scene" magazine for current live music listings and club locations to round out your visit at Belle Pointe. We welcome you warmly to Nashville!

About Debbi and David Underwood

David and Debbi Underwood are originally from Texas. Debbi moved to Nashville in 1993 and David came here in 2006. Recently married, we decided to keep Debbi's home ( purchased in 1998) as a vacation rental. The home has such a nice inviting feeling from the minute you walk in, we just had to keep it for friends and family who come to visit our beautiful city. We completely refurbished the home. Everything is freshly painted and because Debbi is an interior designer you'll enjoy the colors and artwork that decorate the space. We decided to open the house to the vacation rental market last year.

Debbi and David Underwood purchased this house in 1998

Why Debbi and David Underwood chose Nashville

Debbi moved to Nashville in 1993. After renting for 5 years, she decided to buy a home in 1998 and found this property which seemed to offer everything she needed and more. For over ten years Debbi used the upstairs area for her interior design business office and studio. The home is set up with two separate living areas so it's perfect for two or three couples or a family with teenagers that want to have their own area. Or even a group of girls or guys on a long weekend in Nashville Music City. The downstairs living area is large enough for a big group so the home is great for entertaining. This part of Nashville, which is west and south of the downtown area, is very safe.

What makes this house unique

One of the reasons we loved this house is the fact that it has 2 fireplaces and living areas. The kitchen is adorable with a window over the sink to look out on the side yard and watch the birds and squirrels while doing dishes and cooking. The charming front porch is covered and a bistro table and two chairs are perfect for sipping a glass of wine in the evening or having coffee and toast in the morning while the sun comes up. Flower boxes line the front porch and the style of the home is very 'craftsman' from the outside but surprisingly contemporary from the inside. The rooms are all very spacious with high ceilings and lots of light. The back yard and back deck and the koi pond with shade trees are such a pleasure. The home is very close (2 mi.) to awesomely beautiful nature areas that were donated to the city over a hundred years ago and long walks in the park are so relaxing. Nashville has four distinct seasons so there's no bad time of year to come here. This home is a little piece of heaven on earth.

Sweet Spot

  • 4 of 5

This is a great house in a very convenient location. The neighborhood feels very safe. The house was clean and well maintained, and had everything we could have possibly wanted. The only minor issue during our stay was toilet chain needed fixing and the owner came over the next morning bright and early and fixed it. They are very nice and made us feel welcome. One suggestion I would make is the couch has about reached the end of its life and could stand to be replaced. It's soft and looks good but no support at all. A hidden gem the owner told us about, and that they might want to advertise is there is an awesome bike path only a mile away next to the golf course. It is flat and maybe 7 miles long (a guess) and runs along a river! Thanks for everything. Your home made our vacation so enjoyable. I would recommend this property to others.

Owner's Response: We''d love to see you back anytime, Jack. Some folks aren't fond of a soft seating sofa. Sorry about that but it is fairly new and not quite to the end of it's useful life by several years. We'd still love to have you visit again.

The best!!

  • 5 of 5

Several of my cousins and I wanted to get together and do a family trip! There was too many of us to get a hotel, so we decided to look into renting a house! We were hesitant, because you always hear about scams.. But we could not be more happy that we chose this property! David met us when we first got there and showed us around, and even made sure the propane tanks were full for us. We were able to grill out and just hang out before hitting the Broadway strip which is about 20 minutes away! There is a community pool down the road to hang out at as well! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, and they even had extra mattresses to use for extra people! The best thing was that we left a bottle of alcohol there that we didn't know my uncle who came with us wanted to keep as a souvenir because it said Nashville on it. He left before us Sunday morning and none of us knew he really wanted that bottle. All I had to do was text David and he immediately said he would mail it no problem! This house was in a subdivision and very nice and quiet but also close enough to the bars to have a good time! It was the perfect mix. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Nashville!

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

Debbi & Dave were there when we arrived and Debbi was an absolute delight as she gave us a tour of the place! The refrigerator had gone out prior to our arrival and they went and purchased a small dorm sized refrigerator for us to put our perishables in until the new refrigerator arrived. The downstairs bedroom had a waterbed in it...I've not slept in one of those in over a decade! But it was incredibly comfortable and so nicely made. There was no shortage of linens and everyone was so pleased with the accommodations. Our Juice Plus event was downtown but it was only a 20 minute drive and well worth it. the neighborhood was so quiet. If we're ever in the area again and needing these types of accommodations, I will be contacting Debbi & Dave!
